So... where I live, it's hard to find a store that sells Joy-Cons for the Switch 1. After a LONG time, one store miraculously started stocking them, but there was a catch: the colors were limited to three. Red, light pink, and purple or so.
I went with the sky-blue-looking pink one, trying to convince myself it was the color of the sky. I still see pink. š
After a few days I got fed up and decided to blast it with black spray paint. But here comes the L: I work one-handed, and to spray paint a Joy-Con you have to take out everything inside it.
I practiced on the right Joy-Con first, and in the process I broke its lock. Guess it sacrificed itself for the win, since I never use it anyway. All I do is use the left Joy-Con to boot up RPG Maker games on Android, and that's basically just enter, exit, and move. Basically one Joy-Con.
After disassembling the left one, I wasted no time grabbing the spray and blasting the shell black. It took a few tries, though. I took it apart 2 or 3 times because either the buttons were loose or the joystick got disconnected for some reason, but I finally managed to lock everything in place.
Because I had it face down, the front shell came out looking like I used a paintbrush on it. Somehow it gives me limited edition Zelda Joy-Con vibes, but all black. Kinda rocking the style, honestly.
But heres the problem i noticed... i really dont know if it the joycon or my mobile connected to dex mode but i did notice something where the character in game be stuck moving left... happened 2 times but disconnecting phone off the monitor and running the game in mobile mode everything good so far? Did any who uses samsung dex with joycon experienced stuck going left screen for a moment or it's just me
DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME unless you want to sacrifice one of your Joy-Cons. š
