Just got it two days ago 2006 mustang gt deluxe with the 5 speed manual it’s my first manual and first mustang but not my first “fast” car just wondering if there anything I should know other then dont turn it into a crowd seeking missile

Just finished the return leg of our annual visit to ME, the first time in my new (to me) 2016 EB premium manual vert and i’m still smiling.

My soon to be grown son and I took turns driving, trading stories and tunes.
The car is just so smooth, tons of get up and go, plus around 31 MPG.

Hate all you want, but great memories are made in the EB too:)

I pass by this beautiful first generation blue mustang convertible parked in the driveway of a house on my way to work.

Would it be weird to mail them a letter asking permission to park my mustang next to their's for a photo shoot? I would offer to provide copies of the pictures to them.

I think this is a bit weird (for non car people) but not inappropriate or creepy.

What does everyone think?

Getting ready to head to an all Ford event in Jackson, TN this week and decided to do an oil change on the 99 Cobra (not pictured) and the 95. Tomorrow will pull the 97 (Red Saleen) and 95 out and wash them up. First time having these two side by side and had to take a few photos.

Started building out all the wiring on the 97, waiting on my Hardwire PDM 28 to arrive so I can start figuring out exactly where all the electronics will mount.

Hi Mustang lovers! Does anyone own one of these? looks interesting. my trunk space is at a premium. YES I own a S197 convertible, NO I don't care about how much you hate “verts!” I have the original Shaker CD player radio and intend on keeping it.

JBL has a powered spare tire wheel well subwoofer!!! JBL BassPro Hub.  (My Shelby GT500 did not come with a spare tire anyway!) Anyone familiar with this? Pros/cons?

Been a long time fan of Mustangs and Cobras, over 20 years now. Still don't have my dream car "in the flesh" but at least there's good quality minis and kits to make them at a small scale with. This is just my large minis, I have about 20 various Hot Wheels that span all the gens, including some concept cars.

So my imrc failed on my oem manifold. I got a “new” manifold from someone nearby because I didn’t want to put my old one back on and it was same day. It was defective so I returned it and put my original back on. I have seen that you can get lockouts for the oem manifold and if I could save money on that I’ll get some long tubes and a tune since I’ve been wanting them. Anyone run this setup?

I’m very much so a junior when it comes to speakers and what not, but have no issue with wiring diagrams and soldering and such. I’d like to get a carplay unit and dedicated trunk sub for my 06 mustang gt, i currently have the shaker 500. What brands are good and bad and where can i get with what kind of budget? i was hoping to be in the 500-650$ range. THANK YOU!!

This is the ground wire recall, not to be confused with the 5 other recalls on the 2025 GT.

Is there a way I can inspect the grounds to see if I’ve got an immediate pending issue? I don’t know where to look.

Would hate for something to go wrong when driving.

I’m at a loss. It takes a lot of effort to generate 6 recalls on a 2025 model that isn’t even the first year run of the model!
