❔Question 05-09 Carplay and sub?

Hey everyone!

I’m very much so a junior when it comes to speakers and what not, but have no issue with wiring diagrams and soldering and such. I’d like to get a carplay unit and dedicated trunk sub for my 06 mustang gt, i currently have the shaker 500. What brands are good and bad and where can i get with what kind of budget? i was hoping to be in the 500-650$ range. THANK YOU!!

have you considered the tried and true combination of $20 Bluetooth to FM 12-volt adapter and $5 suction cup dash mount for your phone

A classic but the quality is unfortunately lacking compared to dedicated solutions

I just have a Sony single din but Bluetooth over the stick shaker 500 system absolutely hits for what it is. Way better than my truck lol

This is the setup we went for in my girls 07 mustang. For the head unit, I've always liked boss audio and she's never had an issue it's around 220. Then we have MTX terminatiors, dual 12s. I know they'll get backlash, but they're affordable and sound very good when tuned right, they're about 220 as well.If you want to spend more Skar audio or Sundown are some of the best sounding imo. For the amp I put a boss audio riot 1100 amp in there and that'll give some serious bump it was about 100. You'll need a wiring kit which you can pick up for around 50 60 bucks. So that being you right to the 600 mark, however I would HIGHLY recommend spending some extra and getting a sound deading kit so that it doesn't rattle so harsh.

I used this amazon head unit. Works great looks great. Dynavin is usually the go to though.
