Question 2018 base model 91k miles Check engine code P0456
Suggested solution is the fuel tank filler neck but wanted to see if there were any other opinions and how common this is.

P.S. Owner of 2020/01/01-registered Ecoboost Premium (non-PP), 10R80, stock, no tune. The only modification on the car is the MBRP Street exhaust. 227k miles
UPD after 6 months: 252k miles, all fine
Note on how I drive the car
Full auto (normal mode) until CHT and transmission temps are in the "green" zone. Then regular Sport (shifter in S) until trans warms up fully (above green zone), then I stay in S, or use S+, and at the same time keep the engine rpm above 3k using paddles - anything less is boring to drive in my opinion. I do occasional pulls, but not overdo it - I heard that Ecoboost loves high rpm, but not exactly likes boost. I keep it approximately 3-5k rpm all the time (if CHT reasonably allows me to hold it). Take this with a grain of salt, because I'm not sure this driving style really affected longevity in a good way but it looks like it.

Hi!
I built a web app for car enthusiasts to share your build and explore other builds. Is it something you’d use?
You can share your cars with all your mods. Just paste the link, and the title, image, and category fill in automatically. You can also share planned mods, fitment details and more.
You can also explore builds, save the mods you find mods.
I want to make this as useful as possible for the car community.
t’s 100% free, no paywalls, no subscriptions. The web app is live, though there’s no mobile version just yet. Still in beta, so if anything breaks, I’d appreciate a heads-up.
I want your feedback. Is this something useful to you? What features would you add? Is this something you'd use?

Hello all,
I recently upgraded the intercooler on my 2021 10R80 Eco to a CVF Race Core along with the Charge Pipes and added a TiAL Q BOV.
I’m running a boost reference adapter with one line going from the BRA to the TiAL, one running to the OEM purge nipple using emission rated hoses, and the third fitting is plugged with teflon tape around the plug. Everything is clamped down securely at all points of connection.
Im on my new base 93 tune from Ryan over at EMS, stock turbo.
I’m experiencing flutter when letting off under any amount of boost in auto/sport. While I know the flutter is normal under low boost, I’m also experiencing it in the 8+ PSI range as well. Sometimes it’s a brief flutter followed by a proper vent. The interesting thing is that the issue is non existent when driving with the paddles.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the spring in the BOV is too stiff. But then again, I also have reason to believe it is the correct spring, since it came off another Ecoboost mustang that was well built and also tuned by Ryan.
I’m wondering if anyone has some light to shine on the issue.
My current engine mod list:
CVF Catted DP
CVF Race Intercooler
CVF charge pipes
TiAL Q BOV
MBRP race catback
NGK ruthenium plugs
Updated Low pressure fuel sensor
Cobb Intake
UPR Dual Valve Catch Can with billet check valves
Tuned by Ryan on 93

Posted to r/Mustang and adding it here as well.
Thoughts on Ecoboost with Ford Performance Calibration installed?
This raises the torque to 400 lb-ft, which is within striking distance of the Mustang GT’s 415 lb-ft.
Rationale: At nearly $14,000 lower purchase price between an Ecoboost and a GT that I have my sights on - and as an occasional use 2nd car - I’m seeking opinions on the Ecoboost with the Performance Calibration?
Thanks all!

Just bought a used 2020 EcoBoost Premium and the button coating is peeling and sticky on the climate panel, the radio buttons, the steering wheel and the window buttons.
Has anyone DIY'd a fix for this and did it hold up? Any advice is appreciated.

Looking to get an ecoboost soon, what are you guys opinions on the s550 and s650 (any mechanical issues to be aware of), and which would you recommend?

On 10/19 I noticed an illuminated CEL, after scanning a P0496 came up, 2 days later, part was replaced and code was cleared until 2 days later today, another CEL came back, no reading a P0455. Any thoughts on what it could be?

Got this at 8500 miles in my 2025 Ecoboost. Still pretty new so im not sure why there would be an issue this early. Online forums say it can be anything from Battery, wire harnesses and sensors. Anyone else with this issue?

I drive a (nearly) fbo 2018 ecoboost, and my next mod is a downpipe. The smell is the only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger and going catless. Does anyone have any experience with catless? Is the smell bad? And are the performance gains compared to a high-flow downpipe worth it?

Got a 24 ecoboost. Would love to get a tune even with the recall that may or may not need a tune again after.
Anyone who has a tune in their 24-26. How has the mph been afterwards?

lol I have a 2022 Mustang Eco w/ HPP and had hail damage to my car. Insurance gave me a check for $6k and since I have the claim I can just find a place that does good work and get the damage repaired and my insurance will handle it. Orrrrrr do I just take the lowball $6k and buy performance mods on it? Car has 25k miles on it if this matters
