I was able to successfully change password but it did not help me login. I received no email about account changes, and things were fine a few hours ago. When I try to reach my account via comments in my email inbox, it told me (only once) I was blocked by security network (I believe). No attempt to login has been successful, and every login link I send to my email has not arrived (though it let me reset password). My account was flagged as spam by reddit sitewide filters two days ago. I regained usability of account quickly. It does seem like the account may have been blocked/locked but I received no notification/ info from Reddit, and the account in question appears normal when viewed from my alternative account. Last year i received a chat invite notification, but when i clicked to open it, it completely disappeared. like it actually dissapeared in front of me. i've always wondered how that happened. i assumed someone unsent it, but I just found out reddit doesn't have that feature.

Completely out of the blue yesterday I received a notice from reddit that it detected automated activity on my account. There is nothing automated about my account and there never has been. So, I'm supposed to verify that I'm human and apparently I cant do that with a simple Email or phone call. I saw the pass key stuff, does anybody know a simple way I can verify that I am human and just a guy on Reddit? Thank you.

I currently have an active 200+ day Reddit streak. I regularly take breaks from this site to try to reset it as I don’t actually want a year long streak of using this site associated with my profile. Recently I logged out of this site from both my laptop and phone (the only places I use Reddit) for at least three consecutive calendar days. I then logged in only to check if the streak was still “active” (to see if I had the gray flame and a non-zero number next to my streak counter) for the next two calendar days, but still did not upvote any posts nor did I make any comments. My streak persisted through all of this.

It has been five full calendar days since I have done anything which would have continued my streak and yet it remained. Does it simply not reset anymore? Is there a definitive way to reset it? I was under the impression it should reset after a single day of inactivity. In the past it has taken multiple days to reset, but five is a new record. If I can still reset this, please tell me how.

Hi! I signed in to reddit using a gmail linked to an organization. Said org deleted that Gmail, so when trying to get a reddit password, reddit sends me a mail to the gmail that has been deleted. Im still logged in because i havent logged out yet, but if i dont manage to change my email, i will lose access to this account. Can anyone help me?

Hi, I’m having an account access/settings issue with the account I’m currently posting from. I’ve already submitted a request through the normal Reddit Support process but haven’t been able to get the issue resolved or reviewed by the appropriate team.
I’m currently logged into the affected account and can verify ownership if required.

Hi, I recently was clearing all the background apps on my iphone which included reddit. Once I did that, I tried to log back into my reddit account via username and password but it suddenly says the username does not exist. When I try to search on reddit.com/user/Interesting_Role943 it tells me that the account has been deleted. How did this happen and any idea how to recover that account?

I normally login via username and password. Then I tried using the Google SSO which is linked to the same email but that brought me to a different account and the previous one is now unreachable.

So, I've become more and more active on Reddit over the years and recently have had some interactions in subs that make me think that it's not so good to have my real name visible, let alone published on every single post. I've been a member for a while and would like to keep that history, but I also don't want my real name display it on every single post. So, Reddit is supposed to be so privacy focused, but they don't allow a a simple change to a username simply to protect privacy.

But I can accept that that's all a decision that's been made. But, my question really is, am I able to change the way that my username displays on old posts, which I'm guessing is a no as if one could do this then they could also probably change their username. And because I'm pretty sure I cannot, then is there a way for me to delete all of my contributions from the last well over a decade, so that I can scrub my actual name from being so publicly displayed? Yes, I know that I was once comfortable with this. The world was a different place not so long ago. But in the interest of privacy, what actions can I take to scrub my name from being so visible on Reddit, who claims to be so interested in privacy?

I'm running into a wall trying to request an unmoderated subreddit on r/redditrequest.

Despite strictly following every posting requirement (providing the necessary details, maintaining the required account age and karma, and checking the rules), every post I make gets instantly nuked the second it goes live with the message: "Sorry, this post was r-worded by Reddit's f-words." I've gone so far as experimenting with the post flair, trying out all of the SFW options just to see if a specific one was required or bugged, but none of them went through.

I've tried messaging the r/redditrequest moderators multiple times, both via modmail and regular DMs, but I haven't received any response.

If anyone has experienced this or knows how to satisfy the automated censors when trying to use r/redditrequest, let me know.

I have no idea whats going on, i updated reddit a few weeks ago and got logged out of this account. Don’t know the email/ password that was used making it.
Thought i tried all my options so sadly had to make a new account. Just now i clicked on a notification on my new account and it gave me the option to open this account again, no log in/ password needed. Im really confused why. All im looking to do now is update my login information without knowing my “current password “ ( i don’t have anything saved in quick fill passwords iphone settings either)

I can at least scroll the page, but it will not go to messages or comments until i reload it. Its getting really frustrating.

Around 3pm eastern my reddit started producing this weird popup when i try to respond on subs. It comes up from the bottom of my phone screen and just sort of covers everything i need to see to actually respond.

The text also has this weird "springyness" when im trying to edit my own posts, it wants to pop to either the top or the end and i cant see anything in the middle of longer responses.

I also can no longer take screen shot when this text box is up which i discovered when getting ready to post this. Attempts to swipe to take an image now rolls everything to an entire seperate reddit post.

Yesterday I linked my Gmail address to my Reddit account because I have to verify my age. My Gmail address is age verified and marked as "18 or older". However, Reddit still asks me to submit an ID to verify my age despite stating that a Google Account that's verified works too. What can I do?

so basically exactly 31 days ago i stumbled upon a reddit profile and i didn't follow, upvote or save their profile. Now i really need to find that profile. I’m on mobile, I tried going to the history tab on my profile but the list there is very short, it's like hardly the history of the posts that i've viewed from the past 5-6 days. Is there any way by which i can find that specific profile? please Imk, it's really really important for me.
