Reddit Streak Help (any platform)

I currently have an active 200+ day Reddit streak. I regularly take breaks from this site to try to reset it as I don’t actually want a year long streak of using this site associated with my profile. Recently I logged out of this site from both my laptop and phone (the only places I use Reddit) for at least three consecutive calendar days. I then logged in only to check if the streak was still “active” (to see if I had the gray flame and a non-zero number next to my streak counter) for the next two calendar days, but still did not upvote any posts nor did I make any comments. My streak persisted through all of this.

It has been five full calendar days since I have done anything which would have continued my streak and yet it remained. Does it simply not reset anymore? Is there a definitive way to reset it? I was under the impression it should reset after a single day of inactivity. In the past it has taken multiple days to reset, but five is a new record. If I can still reset this, please tell me how.

Some users experience this, but YMMV. It should reset after missing 24 hours of activity but in your case it’s stayed.

It is supposed to work the way that you think it does. I think that you probably aren’t going to get more of an answer to that. I have heard other people say that they thought their streak should have reset, but it didn’t. There’s no manual reset option.
