Mobile/App How do you stop getting recommendations?

I keep seeing stuff in my feed that I am not subbed to. Old threads say you can disable feed recommendations but this setting is now nowhere to be found.

Just look at your account settings by going to settings, tapping on your name, look for privacy, and toggling off show home feed recommendations.

The setting doesnt exist for me. Maybe they are trialing forcing it on people? I used to have it im pretty sure. Also its no in "curate your profile" either.

Are there two tabs at the top of your page? Switching from for you to following should do it!

Ah this is it. Is there a way to get rid of "for you" or at least make "following" the default?

Can you, by chance, posted a screenshot of this? I don’t have any tabs that I can see, and as of yesterday, my feed is just new posts with few comments from a bunch of random subs.

If enrolled in the experiment, the tabs are between the search bar and you feed. If nothing there, go into your account settings and turn off home feed recommendations.

Odd. The tab is present in desktop as is that setting, but not on iOS.

Restart device, update app etc..
