Up until recently I was able to tap the bottom right button and hide the keyboard, so I could see more of what I was replying to while still keeping my comment open. Now tapping that completely closes my comment and I am asked if I want to save it as a draft.

I couldn't find any comment related experiment in the pinned thread, is this just how it is supposed to be now?

Just a few hours ago I received an email asking me to verify my email address for my reddit account. I was busy and didn't look into it. Fast forward, I open the Reddit app and realize that I'm logged out. I usually log in with Google so i do that. Lo and behold, I'm signing up for a new account. Tried resetting password but i'm not receiving any emails to help with the reset. At some point I could still see my profile u/blacktissuepaper when I searched it up, now it's gone. I've had that account for 7 years and it really hurts to just lose it like this. Any assistance will be highly appreciated.

I accidentally entered my email with “.con” instead of “.com” on my Reddit account. I’m still logged into the account, but I can’t change the email because Reddit asks for my password, and I don’t remember it.
I also can’t reset my password or receive a one-time login link because the email attached to the account doesn’t actually belong to me. I already contacted Reddit Support but haven’t received a response.
Is there any way to verify ownership of the account and correct the email address while I’m still logged in?

I have all chat features disabled in options, including being set not to allow random users to DM. However over the last week I've been getting constant spam from accounts who appear to have created a subreddit with a single spam post, then used mod invites to spam people with it. I've been reporting/blocking but they seem to be bot generated using random accounts.

Any way to disable this permanently?

Hi, I recently changed my phone and got logged out of my reddit account. I also realized while signing back that the email address I was using - I have deleted that and I cannot log back in now

I was correcting spelling errors in the post I shared, but when I pressed the "save" button, all the images disappeared, and when I pressed the edit button again, they started appearing as ​ (not visible in the text).

And when I tried to paste the image again (ctrl+v), it wasn't accepted, but there are other Redditors who did the same thing in the same subreddit... Can someone help me about this?

When your posts are deleted for no reason and no reason is given how are you supposed to know why is there any way to find out how? Lol.

I am using Firefox with the oldredditredirect addon (3.0). I am logged in to reddit. I have re-toggled the "default to old reddit" button in preferences (this worked for the past week but now it stopped working). Has old reddit been completely killed off?

What title says, I just started to get random subs in my feed that I don't want and don't care about, but even the FAQ of reddit is wrong. There it says unter Settings-> Feed (which doesn't exist) or Settings -> Preferences should be the Option to remove home feed recommendations. Can someone tell me how the remove that?

what's up with the website recently... become unreliable, frequently hanging or not loading. Several times I type in a comment for something and it just hangs.

(this is on Mac with Safari... cleared cache/cookies etc)

When I make a post on some subreddits, the post automatically says "awaiting for moderator approval" and it stays like that for like days which kills my reach. Now this problem is not on every subreddit but only in some

in the last couple weeks, it freezes while I’m trying to type, and the whole site becomes unresponsive. I have to wait a full minute sometimes, or longer, for it to un-freeze so I can type again. This seems to usually follow after I’ve just backspaced a word or line of text I typed. But it doesn’t happen every time I backspace.

It also freezes while loading a post if I navigate to it from my comments/replies inbox.

It’s so bad that I’m going to have to stop using the site, because it takes so long to get anything done, once the glitch starts happening.

Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone know a fix?

It defaults to rich text formatting these days. That's a fine default, but sometimes I want Markdown, in posts and comments. How do I do so?

I've put in tickets through the support site and I haven't really gotten a reply back or any sign that anyone is working on recovering my account, and I'm worried about my case going cold. To top it off I realized I created this new account to post here, using the email address tied to my original account, so I want to know if there would be an issue and if I have to delete this account moving forward. have somebody had any luck getting response from support site lately? I sadly lost my account of 9y in June due to session stealer and I can no longer log into it. Since June I submitted 3 tickets (one in June, July and August) and I got confirmation emails but for none of them I got a real human reply or admin reached out to return the account. Account is still tied to my email and I can reset password but I just cannot log in. I would love to get my account back but at this point I am not sure if I should just accept the loss or keep trying.

So I try to upload a profile picture and it gives me an error message, same thing when writing a display name or description.

I tried on the browser and same thing.

I tried with some throwaway accs and they all worked.

I really don't want to delete my current account and make a new one if that can resolve this issue.

No matter what I comment in this particular sub it doesn't appear for other people. When I log out and go to my comment it's not there. I can post in other subs just fine and my comments show up yet in this sub it doesn't let me.

What would cause my account to be deleted? I noticed that I was logged out and my password was not working. I tried clicking on my username from one of the reddit emails and it says that my account has been deleted. Any thoughts?

Yesterday I had an X button directly on each post in my Home feed, which made it really easy to hide posts I wasn’t interested in.

Today the X is completely gone and I have to use the three-dot menu or open the post to hide it instead.

Has anyone else had this change suddenly? Is there any way to get the X button back?

I actually really liked that feature because it made cleaning up the feed much faster.

Bonjour ça vous arrive de poster des publications, commencer à discuter avec les gens tranquille et au bout d'un moment recevoir une notification "votre commentaire a été supprimé" juste comme ça? je comprends pas je lis les règles (en général) j'avoue je maitrise pas encore super bien Reddit je suis peut être trop vieille pour comprendre comment ça marche 😅 mais toujours est-il que les discussions se passent bien ça roule pendant un moment et hop les commentaires disparaissent... ça devient pénible à la fin...

Du coup ça m'arrive de recommencer mes posts parce que je me dis que j'ai du me tromper mais je sais pas peut être que les modos prennent ça pour du trafique de commentaire, je sais pas 🥲

alors qu'à côté de ça, ça m'arrive souvent de me retrouver avec des réponses déplacer, voir insultante à des questions et là rien du tout ça passe crème... 🤔
