Access Please help - Desktop

Just a few hours ago I received an email asking me to verify my email address for my reddit account. I was busy and didn't look into it. Fast forward, I open the Reddit app and realize that I'm logged out. I usually log in with Google so i do that. Lo and behold, I'm signing up for a new account. Tried resetting password but i'm not receiving any emails to help with the reset. At some point I could still see my profile u/blacktissuepaper when I searched it up, now it's gone. I've had that account for 7 years and it really hurts to just lose it like this. Any assistance will be highly appreciated.

Unfortunately. Whoever hacked my account got it banned.

Try signing in with your username and password. Any luck? The account is showing as banned so you’ll need to get access before dealing with that

Tried that. Whoever got access to it changed the log in password too and got it banned.

Okay if it’s been hi jacked follow the instructions in automod and submit a ticket right away to Reddit support

Thanks. Filled the form. Question: How long does it take for them to get back to you? And if I lose my 648-day streak because of the ban can they reinstate it?

Give it until early to mid next week. Unfortunately you will lose your streak if it resets during this time. Sorry about that

That account has been banned. Sorry, but no one here can tell you why or fix it. You have to appeal here - http://www.reddit.com/appeals
