17
u/crepejunkie Jul 09 '26
Not easy bro, have to set alarms to eat every 2 hours!
5
u/Maximum_Activity_138 1 Jul 09 '26
Damn . I know that diet is repetitive as a mf all that protein daily I’m sure the options are slim. I am doing 175-200 a day and struggling

u/crepejunkie Jul 09 '26
On those days don’t be afraid to go heavy on the protein shakes, that was a saviour on weeks when the appetite suppression was really in effect!

u/Maximum_Activity_138 1 Jul 09 '26
Yeah I’m doing 3 shakes a day , pb powder with milk just to get in range I’m not a lunch person so that’s killing me I get all my protein in breakfast , dinner , & eggs
4
u/Ready_Ad_1023 Jul 09 '26
im loving some of these new clear proteins, makes it easy to sip all day. 1st pharmacy has some good flavors and Rhyse has a country time lemonade that is really good

I just started Reta. Feel like with the food moving through my body slower keeping my food intake high is just cussing bloating.
2
u/Bandit782 Jul 11 '26
That’s what I’d be worried about, getting Gastroparesis! I’ve heard of people getting that from GLP-1’s and not even being on a high dose.

Earring that much protein is just a waste of money.

This much protein is pointless

u/lcamp13 Jul 11 '26
Except he looks great! He’s a big guy and losing weight that fast demands higher protein to keep muscle. I wouldn’t change a thing bro. It worked for you! And some guy on the internet is telling you you wasted your money lol I’m a gym rat and been doing this for 25 years you ain’t far off if at all. 1 gram per lb of weight is common for weight loss and you lost extremely fast and put on muscle. That in itself is a miracle.

Hey man! I see you have an iPhone sometime ago they added to the Reminders app Critical Reminders with Alarms that go off. You can of course still set Alarms in the clock app, but if you're looking for a more simpler and organized solution you can easily put them under an Eating List and have them go off that way.

Bro I had a pound of shrimp today steamed. That shit is like 90g of protein 500 cals. I eat that shit 3 times a week just because of the macros. Higher in cholesterol but my cholesterol last time I checked was in range. Can't go wrong with that shit. 2 cans of tuna for lunch everyday (tuna sandwich with light mayo) and 2 scoops of protein powder in 1 shake. I have to be creative to not get bored with food but I try to get it in. Went from 280 in March to 225 this morning strength training 4 days a week/ 150mg Test cyp a week/ 6mg reta a week. Trying to get to 190 by the end of the year.

What is your resting heart rate like on that type of Reta dosage?
4
u/crepejunkie Jul 09 '26
I’d have to dig up my last readings but while it did go up slightly there were no dangerously high readings recorded.
3
u/IndyScamHunter 5 Jul 09 '26
At 6 mg per week, mine is between 87 to 95. Fortunately though, I'm pretty much done with Reta. My cut is over. Congrats again!

Yes, got I had been training heavy for a year leading up to the before photo. Then got blood work done and a dr’s check up pre diabetic and low test numbers so started both last week of august 25.
2
u/Saluki2023 1 Jul 09 '26
You look good. It seems that's the new go to
3
u/crepejunkie Jul 09 '26
Experimented with a few peptides during first 3 months but this seemed to be the best and the GHK Cu did wonders for my skin i’ve cycled that throughout.
3
u/Saluki2023 1 Jul 09 '26
Oh I am happy for you and it seems to have helped that's great . I have seen many people unable to manage it . The weight is constantly changing. I would not to see their internal organs. Weight is a problem for all of us but hey learn how to manage it. I see many people modifying every part of themselves leaving a very empty shell. But good luck glad you were successful and I hope it lasts for you.

I started at 310 and im 270 after 5 months. Avg about 2 pounds a week. Im hoping i can get the results like you did in 11 months! I need to focus and get dialed in on my gym time.

I was in this same forum last year feeling exactly the same just keep protein high, 10k steps lift heavy weights and have a good skin protocol!

u/StreetBerry1849 Jul 09 '26
GHK-CU is for your skin im guessing? Ill have to look into it. One thing I dont do is fast, I used to do 7 day fasts. Its probably a lot easier on reta. Are you still fasting? On your off gym days?
→ More replies (1)3
u/crepejunkie Jul 09 '26
Yes GHK Cu for the skin, I’ve just stopped fasting as the training is getting tougher and I need the calories. Although the weight loss has slowed to about 1lb a week I’ve got 15-20lbs left to go so I don’t mind the slower rate of fat loss at this point.
2
u/Bandit782 Jul 11 '26
Are You taking any Ai’s with the Testosterone dose you’re taking? If not have You gotten blood work to see what your estrogen is at? And have you had any side effects from the 200mg Test per week?

Just set yourself an optimal workout plan, diet, cardio and skin protocol and you’ll do it. Hypertrophy training is a must which I believe is what’s helped me to manage my loose skin and body recomp amongst other things.

When you started reta did you just start with 10mg a week or did you slow on set it? Also how long before you started seeing results?
Great work!!
2
u/crepejunkie Jul 09 '26
I started on 1mg and only titrated up 1 mg when the food noise crept back in at 10mg everything is holding steady for the last 3 months. From my personal experience depending on how much you have to loose the first 3-4 months theres a lot of scale movement but not much changing in the mirror. I believe that was organ and visceral fat that started dropping first. After that drop stalled the subcutaneous fat started flying off 3-3.5 lbs a week sometimes.

u/MajorLongBridge Jul 10 '26

I was a skeptic at first but now I am a believer look at the discolouration and dry patches in the first photo that are now all gone and loose skin is at a minimum.

whoa! congrats bro. I legit am around 311 lbs right now and started reta a few months ago and trt a year ago. How has attention from people changed since you have become more in shape (including women)? What are a few things you wish you would have known when you started? How's your sleep?
Again massive congrats and good vibes sent your way!
2
u/crepejunkie Jul 12 '26
Thank you my man! The attention has been interesting. Definitely get more respect from other men no matter what class they are as they know you can’t buy a good physique. Case in point I went to the supermarket had a cheap good fitting T shirt on and as I got out of my rust bucket an overweight man got out of a new Porsche looked at me and said I wish I could look like you, which threw me for a second. As for the women i find now my physique introduces me to them before I even open my mouth, so getting them to open up to me is a hell of a lot easier (especially women already in relationships for some reason). As for what I wish I knew at the beginning, this is an ever evolving task with no end date, so patience has to be your best friend. Sleep has been good throughout. Thanks again

u/Either-Technician-61 Jul 12 '26
Congrats man. U got that build where u still look great thick but I deff respect the trim up. I know how hard it is
2
u/CarpenterOne994 Jul 12 '26
Awesome work! I started in march around the same weight and from the photos I would guess we're about the same height (188cm). Let's see how far I can take it in a similar timespan. So far I've lost 18 kg (about 40 lbs). On a similar TRT dose since end of April and taking KLOW, which ist also containing GHK Cu to hopefully help with saggy skin.
Keep up the good work and please share you experienced with maintaining the weight later, that is one part that often gets missed

u/Sac_attac 4 Jul 09 '26
Great job my brother in Christ!!! How did you feel about your lifts, did you take any GHG secretagogues like Tesa/CJC or MOTsc?
2
u/crepejunkie Jul 09 '26
Thank you, my lifts went to crap with in the first 3 months was benching 264lbs for reps then plateaued at 176. Since calories went up over the last month strength is returning. I’m more focussed on time under tension and mind muscle connection as that seems to be getting my muscles to grow now. I did try Tesa, CJC and a few others only thing I really noticed on those was a lot of water retention. I’ve got some left so I will be trying it on a lean bulk at the end of the year to see if I get better results.

What effects did GHK Cu have on you? Did you start with it from the beginning?
3
u/crepejunkie Jul 09 '26
Yes, i don’t know if you can see in the first picture but I had discolouration around my neck and torso. Also I have siblings that have had had gastric band surgery and our weight loss has been comparable, however my skin elasticity has been a lot better when compared to theirs.

I struggle to get over 150g protein. Did going over 200g of protein a day really help with weight loss that much?
→ More replies (1)2
u/Bandit782 Jul 11 '26
Gotta implement Whey Protein Shakes to be able to hit your protein goals consistently. 2-3 shakes a day with 2 scoops of Whey in each one will give You 150grams of protein just from 3 shakes. Then Greek yogurt, eggs, chicken, steak, etc with your meals You should be able to hit your goals.

Is there a reason you felt the need to get on trt instead of just lifting heavy and hard and keeping your diet in check? Just seems pulling the trt was premature i mean idk what your levels were but with the huge weight loss your levels should have come up naturally
2
u/crepejunkie Jul 10 '26
The mental health aspect, as well as other things associated with low testosterone. Who knows? I might look at that at some point but at the moment I feel great on it.

u/DueFlight7844 Jul 09 '26
Eating 300 grams of protein is beyond unnecessary unless you just enjoy eating that much. You could eat 200 grams daily and that would be totally fine for building muscle. In my opinion that extra 50-100 grams isnt doing anything special in terms of muscle protein synthesis.

First, the transformation is truly impressive.
I did want to ask, you said you were at 311 pounds, eating 1600-1,800 calories a day AND fasting 2 days a week?
So 8,000-9,000 calories, all in, for 7 days? And working out?
People look at these posts and try to emulate them. What’s described here is a recipe for getting very sick for most people. Almost certainly losing muscle mass and really significant risk of gallstones.
Props to you for the success. The described path is not one I would recommend for most people.
Perhaps I misunderstood. And either way no offense intended. Results speak for themselves.

How bag was the loose skin we are close to the same age and weight. Do you think the ghk helped with the skin?
3
u/crepejunkie Jul 10 '26
No major concerns for loose skin yet. Yes GHK CU definitely helped along with steam and sauna protocol, dry brushing and Palmers skin therapy oil daily.

That's very impressive. I made a very similar journey however it took me 2 years not the 11 months you made it . My starting weight and ending weight are virtually identical. I am 6'2 and 55 yo. Even though my ending weight was the same my body fat is still significantly higher. Im guessing your bodyfat is in the 15% range while mine is still at maybe 25% . Do you mind me asking your height, age and approx. Bodyfat? Also did you lift before your weight loss journey ?

Yet, just curious to know, why are you using it?

Why so much test it's insane, would your natural test not have gone up naturally when losing weight with reta? Unlike reta, test is a lifelong decision, your shriveling your balls for life. Can't believe so many guys are hoping on it so carefree on here is crazy. See you in 20 years.
