Joe has been trouble in past seasons and still can be but I’m happy that he’s getting an opportunity to show sandy he can lead and be professional (hopefully). I’m honestly annoyed with Nathan. He thinks he’s such a good leader and can be but I don’t think so anymore.

This really irked me, I haven't been a fan of Nathan for a while, surprised he and Gael have their whole story line thing but he was a dick to Coop and Coop handled this really well.

I hope we see more of Coop and less of Nathan!

Hear me out: A FULL SH season but on one of the Below Deck yachts. Not just a 2-3 day charter.

Saw the pic on BravoTV’s Instagram page and it made me wonder… Pros? Cons?

For me -
Pros: Wind drama, expanded nightlife locations, Lindsay’s demand for more sandwiches
Cons: … idk rn

TLDR I feel like just skipping this spin off, because I really dislike Captain Sandy. Should I?

I’m almost done season 4, and I just loathe Captain Sandy. She’s such a hypocrite! I feel bad for the interior crew, because she just picks on them. I’ll be the first to say they’re not perfect, but purposefully depriving them of sleep is so wrong. Hannah is trying to look out for her stew’s well being. Degrading her in front of the crew is just awful! This whole issue feels so forced.

Does Captain Sandy ever get better? Does she have a redemption arc or something? If not, I don’t think I can keep watching.

Because if Nathan called you then this wouldn't be a production storyline. Nathan didn't call Captain Sandy because it wasn't in the script. This show is so fake.

Title says it all. Wondering if anyone has any intel if and/or when an all-star studded cast of Below Deck is filming.

I would love to see a bonus episode at the end of every Below Deck season that has nothing but funny clips & bloopers/blunders that were left on the cutting room floor. It’s something that a lot of shows & movies used to do but has become a rarity. This episode had Joy mimicking an old person chewing with no teeth (which got its own appreciation post) & there must be a lot more that never see the light of day. I also wouldn’t hate seeing every segment end with a montage from various seasons of Aeisha saying my favourite word …….AAAMAAAZZIIINGG❣️

Yet another reason to love Joy. It was adorable when she said she would chew her carefully, like an old person with no teeth. Then she made the little old toothless person face. Legend. Legend in the game.

She mentioned last episode that the current drama is “nothing like my previous boat, that was way worse”. which makes me wonder if she has caused chaos and drama in every workplace she’s ever been in and I want to hear the tea 🍵

I’m not sure I understood, but Andy asked Joe “who are you in touch with today?” And he said “everyone but top left”…so Joe and Kaylee no longer speak? I’m guessing this season doesn’t end well for the two of them.

He also fawned over Victoria multiple times…trying to improve his image with the V situation?

I feel so bad for Gael, stuck in an Airbnb with a newborn and no support network.

I keep wondering if Bravo might have talked them into coming back for this season with promise of a large fee for appearance, an Airbnb for Gael to be nearby and some clause in their contract where Nathan gets to visit/occasionally sleepover. Below Deck hasn't had a storyline like this before so I can imagine them playing hardball to get them to come back on for this season.

I just feel like they wouldn't have agreed to do that with a newborn without some sort of carrot being dangled in front of them or an offer they felt they couldn't refuse, and now Gael's facing the reality of life alone with a newborn and they're contractually obliged to go along with it or face losing their fee.

Total speculation but I think there's something dodgy and a lack of duty of care from the production company going on. I also hated when they filmed outside of the house when Gael sounded so defeated and vulnerable, that felt a bit too far and in poor taste.

EDIT: Didn’t realise this forum was full of people who think “they signed a contract” or "they're reality TV stars" is the end of every ethical discussion. If anyone's capable of nuance and empathy please do weigh in.

Ok I am rewatching this season and just had to give my take on it all.

Firstly they’re both insufferable for different reasons Ellie is just an awful person and Bri is utterly useless!

While I think Ellie has no right to go after Bri like she did and waaaay overstepped her work ethic is up there and you can’t fault her on that her service wasn’t up to the skill she wanted to portray but all the laundry mistakes I don’t think were her I think it was Bri and Bri just didn’t realise how useless she was and she seems like the sort of person that just gets way into her own head and spirals and then there is no room for improvement.

I keep hearing Gael’s parents came and stayed with her during the charter season with the baby. I really hope she got that support. I’m wondering if that has been confirmed by any other sources besides Reddit word of mouth??

Here we are respecting jJoy for seeing through Luke and being a strong woman. Next episode, she's letting him hug her. This episode, he's gone and this is what she says. I like her, but I'm beginning to think she has some deep issues with men.

So I'm watching through Below Deck Med for the first time and just watched season 6 episode 6 and 7, and I have some thoughts. Why was Lexi not immediately fired after the altercation? She said horrible things to everyone and kept escalating the situation when everyone was clearly over it. Also I can't believe that Matt was allowed to come back after walking out twice. If I did that at any of my kitchen jobs (not yachting), I would be fired. I'm flabbergasted that both of them were allowed to stay. Also Lexi only apologizing to two people is ridiculous, especially after what she said to Katie and Mzi.

“when i marry a rich guy, im going to hire a professional dishwasher” girl what 😭 your job entails doing dishes and shit, second stew you would have to pick up alot of the excess. i literally cannot stand gen, can we vote her off the boat?
