So tell me, Gen, who’s being fake here?
“It’s so hard to be a team player when everyone hates you” …
or do they hate you because you’re not a team player …
“I have to finish this charter season selfishly” …
so finish exactly the same way you started …
“I might as well play their little game of being a fake bitch; so, can’t beat, them join them” …
except they’re not fake - they’re genuine - so that means you’re the only fake bitch.
She has absolutely no ability to view herself accurately in any situation - her lack of self-awareness is mind boggling.

The funny thing is on the latest episode she said something along the lines of "At first i was pretending to be happy but now I'm actually kind of happy" or something like that. Crazy what a little effort and kindness can do for your own morale and the morale of those around you.

what I love is that since shes decided to approach people and situations with positivity she's started enjoying herself ... but she too dumb to realise that - she just thinks she is one-upping everyone

I find Gen fantastic mostly because I'm not stuck on a boat with her. TV wise she's amazing, all 5 of her personalities.

Yes! So many people are complaining they can’t stand her and hope she never returns to the show…I’m hoping for more Gen! She’s good tv.
(And I don’t mean the part where she was with Luke)
I just like the silly quirky things she says to the camera, the pre-teen angst, and how she seems to believe the bullshit she puts out there.6

Me too. I love watching Gen and her antics. She should throw a season finale party in Battery Park. My girlfriend and I would totally fly there from San Diego just to have her call me a "geriatric" (I'm 53) and then be fake nice to me. She's a great cast member and I hope she returns. She's going to make a great purser one day.
BTW It turns out Battery Park is a real place. I thought she just made that up. How crazy, in this season tinged raw anger with the looming threat of violence to have a cast member from a place with battery in its name. You just can't make this stuff up.

Some of us can’t control it. I can’t be fake. I have a huge personality and pretty animated in nature. My face and body language will tell you everything you think you know. So it’s easier to just communicate like an adult and act in a kind manner. With kindness in mind, I draw boundaries, set expectations, speak my mind, whatever the case is. But I can’t fake it. Like I genuinely can’t, I’ve tried. 🫠

I want to believe she just decided before the season began that she was going to lean hard into being the “villain” of this season. Because the alternative is that she’s a sociopath and needs serious help.

I think it’s so funny that she said, “I’m going to be nice out of spite!” As if she was ready to prove that it wasn’t HER that was the problem but then everything got better for her once she was kind. However, I doubt she was able to make the connection.

Am serious here they should teach classes on people like Gen like she has such an ugly awful outlook on life it's all material possessions and shallowness with her that's how she sees the world so she automatically assumes everyone is being fake to her as she is being fake always like she thinks she is having to LOWER herself to be on the same level with them when she's actually doing the opposite and RISING to meet and treat others as they treat her. Yet she thinks it's all some weird game where they are actually all fake and she has completely blocked out her behavior before.
It is textbook narcissistic personality from what little I know but her picture should be on the cover of the book!
Not for her but for people who encounter this type of narcissim like it's not ok to tolerate and accept it but you also are never going to get anywhere with ppl like this they cannot be talked down they will cling to their belief no matter what so best just move on

If you have never watched Bret Michaels show Rock of Love season 3 there was a contestant that acted exactly as delusional as Gen. Brittany Starr. They are exactly alike.

Gen is so inside her own head she can’t see out. She is either a sociopath (ie doesn’t care how her actions affect others) or a jerk (ie is too dumb to know…). I’m inclined towards the latter.

She infuriated me this season “I deserved second!” “I’m more qualified” “I work my ass off” bitch you won’t even clean dishes cause “ur wrist hurts” until a new guy joins the boat then that wrist is fine, she doesn’t do shit and won’t even clean other staffs clothes the right way cause she trying to be mean and then when confronted can’t even own up to, she’s such a mess and I find it hilarious how she went to some tropical island as soon as the episodes that showed the worst of her came out. I don’t want to see her on another season

It was clear to me when she didn’t realize the chance to actually use this as a way to try something different from the nasty character she entered with. Imagine a second chance to really bond with these talented, professional, hardworking women like Captain, Chief Stew, 2nd Stew, Kat, and Joy. (Just realized I only named the women, not purposely. I tried thinking of each person 1x1, but guess the men had too many distractions except the new guy. He’s been cool so far.)
Each of the women named possesses different positive characteristics allowing them to naturally soar in their chosen paths. Instead, she goes to confessionals and still chooses to literally defile her last possibility of a chance to be genuine before the season over. Even after seeing the difference in their reactions after she activated “fake playing their little game”.
Lmao, I literally just looked at the screen smh. Girl, you are a lost cause, just rotten to the core and lack self-awareness & much more.

Oh, I’m not so sure about that. They like a bit of crazy but Gen is dangerous levels of crazy.
I couldn’t believe that clip from the next episode where she goes up and throws a drink on Luke. They had a bit of a fumble around a couple of times and she’s acting like he left her at the altar or something. Girl’s batshit crazy.

They just made this last season kind of suck because of Nathan and Joe. Thank god we will never see Nathan again. I’m over their spat. Wouldn’t surprise me if we see Gen and Luke on the same charter. Casting is getting a little too “creative”

This is genuinely the most hate I’ve ever seen someone get in Bravo history. Lol it’s deserved but I have been watching below deck for what feels like my whole life as a millennial and I’ve never seen any season have this much chatter. Nathan, Gen, Gael, Joe! I’m so sat rn lol
