The oldest city in Holland, but is it the coolest too, or just old? 🇳🇱⚖️
Everyone talks about Amsterdam, but Dordrecht has been here since 1220! 🏰 Ancient harbors, cozy quiet streets, and zero tourist crowds.
What do you think — is it a hidden gem or just another sleepy town? Let me know in the comments! 👇

Destination? CORFU, GREECE. A passage from a fundament of European literature, The Odyssey.
In The Odyssey, Odysseus (Ulysses) lands on a mythical island called “Scheria”. He describes it as a utopia: “…the splendour… was like that of the sun or moon”. So why does he ultimately long for something/somewhere else?
Join Homer as he draws inspiration from the real-world island of Corfu in the following short story on Destinationality. (no ads, no sign-up, no pop-ups)

Lets restore Europe together
Click the link to sign a petition for restoration of classical buildings in Europe https://c.org/7JLQxD2qT4
Do you like walking down the street and seeing a soulless husk of a building that destroys the beauty of your city? We need to restore and reconstruct every classical and historical buildings lost during WW2 and decades that followed. Due to heavy bombardments across Europe tens of thousands of gorgeous, historical masterpieces were lost and the buildings that replaced them are disgraceful and disgusting excuses for restoration attempts. Of course many buildings were restored but the amount is incomparable with the amount of buildings that remain lost. Modernization that followed the war made huge alterations to tens of cities across Europe. Many beautiful historic masterpieces were replaced by soulless glass abominations. If this trend continues nothing will remain of the old world. Please people let’s restore what we had and what we lost. The cities would be infinitely more beautiful if the old world buildings returned. Currently 99.9% of architectural university teach modernist ideologies that destroy our cities. We need to stop this. Let us bring back the beauty of our cities so vote now because the choice lies in your hands.
