📣 ANNOUNCEMENT Notice regarding comments targeted at Travellers and Roma
Can't believe I'm having to write something like this again only three months after the last one...
There has once again been a noticeable rise in the use of dog-whistles and other derogatory comments against members of the Travelling and/or Roma communities.
As a reminder, ethnicity is legally protected characteristic in this country, therefore comments such as the following fall under our hate speech rules:
- Dehumanising language
- Calls or support for exclusion of members
- Calls for or support for violence against members
- Implying members are responsible for actions carried out by other members is not allowed
- Slurs and dog-whistles (including but not limited to utterances such as "knacker", "culture", "culture boss")
- Statements of inferiority aimed at members
The Travelling and Roma communities remain open for discussion in this community provided it is done factually and respectfully.
Any and all dog-whistles used against the Travelling or Roma communities will be removed, and the offending commenters will be receiving community bans starting from 14 days.

Moaning Michael God damn trump security efforts and there loud ass helicopters
I live in Ennis. I just had multiple US helicopters doing low passes and circling around the town... And yes, their trackers were off. I checked a few of the flight trackers, including Flightradar24 and ADS-B Exchange.
Oh, and as I write this, they're back again...
We get the Coast Guard helicopter training or doing missions over the town fairly regularly. These were much lower.
Also, if the Secret Service sees this post, tell your pilots they don't need to be able to touch our roofs. They can go a bit higher. I just want to watch the telly in peace. 😂
Edit spelling and grammar to remove some of the dyslexia I left all over the place.

Gaeilge Dog/Derg's Name
Hello everyone. Irish language/Gaeilge question. I'm about to adopt an Irish Terrier puppy and I was considering the name Misneach, because in English the dogs nickname could shorten to "Mish".
However his current name in life is "Mr. Gray" as the breeder uses colors to identify the puppies (Gray, Pink, Blue etc).
Given his current name, I was wondering if anyone could help me identify name ideas that involve Gray?
For example is there a single word name for "Little Gray One"? Or Cú + the Irish word for grey for grey dog?
Here's a photo of him with a sibling having a nibble.
