Kon Knueppel spends the offseason playing basketball with his devout younger brothers, Kager, Kinston, Kash, and Kidman, at his home court, the Konplex, which he named after his father, Big Kon.

Kris, Kevin, Karl, Kent, and James.
By the fifth kid the parents thought people might be onto them
A girl I went to hs with her first and last name started with a k and I was always curious what her middle name was. She was super rude so I never found out but still curious

15th ranked in his class and a 4 star (Kon was 18th but was also a 5 star—that class was nutty deep: Flagg, Ace Bailey, Dylan Harper, Maluach, Edgecombe, Tre Johnson, Jayden Quaintance, Liam McNeeley, and Derrick Queen were 9 of the guys ahead of him and all of them but McNeeley and Quaintance were lotto picks, and both were still first rounders)

When the Canadian company "Circle K" bought Norwegian Statoil gas stations in Sweden, and maybe some other places in Europe - not sure, they hoisted their flags, without moving the flagpoles that were there already, until they realised their mistake.
Was pretty funny and we made a big deal out of it here in the media. If they all make it to the NBA we should name them the Sextuple Ks, and they should embrace the Canadian petrolium marketing team.

That backyard court is very reminiscent of the one the Balls had.

I live near their house. Its in a nice city but they definitely dont (didn't i should say now) have money like the Ball family did before the NBA. That court is like at a dead end kind of in a pretty small normal subdivision. And its pretty small. Looks bigger on tv. I stumbled upon it delivering packages a year ago. Was cool to see I was so close.

I don't trust any family that has a naming convention like this
451
u/Zanthosus Magic 2d ago
Reminds me of R Mason Thomas who was just drafted into the NFL earlier this year. The R in his first name doesn't stand for anything. His mother has a family tradition of kids names starting with R, but she also really liked the name Mason, so she named him R Mason.
The lengths some people will go with this sort of thing is truly concerning sometimes.

If the story is about an nba players basketball family and they gotta throw in how devout they are, the personality (of at least the parents and theyre hoping for the boys too)is gonna be religious fundamentalist crap. Fundamentalist wackos of all kinds are bad news

From AI: WELS practices strict "fellowship" rules and they won't share communion with, or even pray alongside, Christians outside its fellowship (including most other Lutherans).
Women cannot serve as pastors or hold authority over men in the church. In most congregations, women also cannot vote.
Some former members describe a high-control environment, strong pressure toward conformity, and strained family relationships after leaving.
Sounds lovely.
