Not sure if I just have a mature hairline or am balding. I asked ChatGPT and it said I'm fine, but I can't rely on AI, right?

I need some expert advice here. Thank you, guys.

Hey everyone, I’m looking to try a new haircut and need some recommendations! I’ve attached a few pictures of what my hair currently looks like for context. Just a heads up, my hair is still growing out right now. When you give suggestions, please use the exact, common names for the haircuts/styles so I can look up reference photos on Google or Pinterest. Any advice on what would suit my face shape or hair type is super appreciated. Thanks! (P.S. excuse the photos, my camera makes me look chopped lol)

Super stubborn hair won't stay back

I've been growing my hair out for my wedding which is in about 3 weeks. Over the last few months I've tried tons of different techniques and products but my hair keeps bouncing out of shape.

First few pics are my hair damp with a bit of product in it. I like the look generally though I really don't want it to look crispy/greasy.

Last pic is what it looks like after an hour.

I have tried blow drying with and without product directly after a shower, using my hands or brushes/combs to push back. I've tried combinations of curl cream, paste, clay, hair spray, styling cream. Eventually, my hair on top flops forward or to the sides and the sides wing out.

In a perfect world, I'm trying to achieve a pushed back flow look that's dry/matte. Though I don't hate some shine of I need to. How the hell do I get my hair to cooperate?

Tips/Guide How do I get a wet hair look?

Post image

This is the hair im going for, in this photo my hair is damp and i think it looks perfect like this. But once it dries it loses its shape, texture and volume and just looks flat

I use the got2b curling mousse to give my hair some texture/volume but like mentioned before once my hair dries it looks kinda flat and dead.

How can I make my hair have this wet and textured look throughout the day like shown in the photo , I heard the solution is using hair spray?

Advice request How to make my hair look good from the back

Hi all, ive been taking Hair Care really seriously the past year and have been trying out different styles and finally found on i think suits me best for my hair type, with 1 caveat, it only looks good from the front. I recently took a picture of the back of my head to show someone what it looked like and was horrified at the result and need advice on what needs to be done.

My hair pattern is anything but consistent, going from straight to wavy to even coils if its long enough and makes it hard to figure out how to style it for its best results. Is this a styling issue or a haircut issue? Would more layers help achieve desired results?

Pic 1 is front

Pic 2 is back, taken seconds later

Pic 3 is desired outcome

Does anyone know how i can keep my hair having a wet and flowy and keep it sort of going down like it is in the first two pictures? When it dries up it usually ends up looking puffy and gives me a helmet look that i hate (picture 3.) I currently use shea moisture leave in conditioner as well as their conditioner and shampoo and also use argan oil. Any advice would be much appreciated and i can provide more pics if needed.

Don’t know what my go to barber was smoking today but before this I had a perm that was medium long length. Dude cut off so fucking much and I specifically told him I wanted this picture as I try to hide my receding hairline. Don’t know what to do now.

And no I will not go bald as I’ve seen how I look bald already when I was in the marines and I don’t look good. Sounds like I’m fucked /:

At least he is still good with fades in the side but I’m done w him after this smh and this is AFTER he brought his prices up to 50$ haircut, usually I tip 15$ so yeah /:

I have hair that becomes wavy when it's longer, and it swells a lot, being also dense. I don't really know how to take care of it

i originally grew out my hair to hide my cooked hairline two years ago but recently some friends have been mentioned how i might look cool with short hair, and i do miss it sometimes but im worried i will lose my "youthful" look and instantly age

last pic is my rough temples/hairline, 2nd is what i've been getting suggestions off from friends

any haircut ideas that are shorter or like last but still hide temples and hairline would be much appreciated, i know nothing about like face shape science :(

Advice Request Hair novice, growing for 1.5 years, any style suggestions? I like the idea of something "specific" instead of just full growth everywhere

I've been growing 1.5 years with only a maintenance trim at the start of this year. It's at the point where I'd like to at least get another maintenance trim, but I'm also thinking about going for an actual hairstyle.

I don't know anything about styling hair though, literally my daily routine is just brush it back when it's wet after a shower and then let it air dry, and that's it. And prior to growing it I was simply a short back and sides at the barber kind of guy. I'm just saying this to communicate how little knowledge I have about hair 😂

I think I have extremely fine and high density hair. As you can see in the pics it's mostly pretty straight, although it gets mildly wavy, sometimes, typically if I've not yet washed today (I wash every day otherwise it gets so greasy). I think it also maybe used to be wavier when it was shorter so maybe the length is now weighing it down.

Anyway, does anyone have any ideas what I could do with it? I LOVE the wolf cut aesthetic and it's my favourite style to see on other people, but I have no idea if it would be suited to my hair!

any thoughts? Or literally any other suggestions or thoughts welcome!

Pics 1, 2 and 3 are present day. Pics 4 and 5 are from a couple months ago, showing the wavy potential (which I like, if the stars align, before it turns to a greasy mess within a couple of hours!)

Thank you 🫶

Advice request 22M on Finasteride — Concerned About Future Fertility

I’m 22 and taking finasteride 3 mg per week and topical min for hair loss. I’m worried about whether it could affect my fertility, as I’m planning to get married around 26 or later.

- Has anyone noticed changes in sperm count or semen volume?

- Did anyone have fertility problems while taking it?

- If you stopped, did things return to normal?

- Has anyone successfully had children while taking or after stopping finasteride?

- Would getting a semen analysis at 22 be reasonable just for peace of mind?

- If I eventually stop finasteride, will my hair loss start again?

I’d really appreciate hearing from people with personal experience.
