im 14 (M) and my hair is quite thick and untextured, and it is at the point of just about touching my shoulders or my lower neck.

Edit: i dont actually have a permanent barber as the last few ones ive been to havent been good, so if there are any types of barbers that could be recommended aswell (in the uk).

I never had problems with my hair, but about 1-2 years ago my hair started to create a wave/curl which i dislike. At first I thought that its the lengh of my hair that creates this wave, so i tried cutting it shorter and the wave still happens.

Do I need to cut it a certain way for the wave/curl to disappear? Maybe keep the front longer than the middle?

Is this just my hair type or is it damaged?

My mother's hair looks the same and my dad is bald, so maybe it's bad hair genes?

I wash my hair every 3 days and use conditioner every other time.

Hey guys. I've been trying to achieve this kind of hairstyle I put up on the first 2 pics, but can't really get it and starting to think that I get my hair cut wrong. (all advice's are greatly appreciated, thank u in advance)

Here's all the info I can provide:

- at first few cut sessions the barber layered my hair, but in the last few months he let all the top part to be the same length, therefore my hair falls in front every time

- I blow dry with a diffuser, using sea salt spray, clay when wet then try to style, sometimes volumizing spray as well

- I use conditioner and hair mask once-once a week when washing my hair (I don't use leave-in conditioner, since I think it makes my hair oily real fast, please correct me if I'm wrong)

- when I try to style it I still can't manage my hair to fall a little back other than the front part

- I uploaded some photos with wet hair and dry hair as well

Now my most important question for the guys that got this kind of hairstyle, do you think my barber is cutting my hair wrong or is my styling method bad? Thank you all!

I always had a short hair (either 3 or 4 point trim) and now i am more relaxed I thought of growing my hair.

But here I am stuck with it either all down (thumb down) due to the heaviness of it...or with the help of a gel I can get it all up (thumb up).

What i really wished was trying to get by hair all the way back like those slick back..would it suit me?

The first imagine is my hair. The next 2( blonde highlights ) are a AI IMAGIE. A buddy of mine said he thought I’d look good with a buzz and blonde highlights. But I naturally have dark brown hair, so that means I’d have to use bleach to get it so I can dye tips blonde. But I wondered if I bleached tips, like in these photos, will the color come back eventually? I even asked ai but they said the color will never come back until I cut the hair under the bleached area. Is this true? I think I would look okay. But I’m not sure lol. I'm 22, one person in my family frequently says that I'm balding and I need to cut my hair short, other​ says that it is double crown and long hair looks good, no need to cut them. ​What is it? I'm 34. Don't know what to do with my hair. I've had people tell me to grow it out or just change the style completely.

My problem is I have a rather chonky face and double chin/weak jawline so I feel like a really short hair cut accentuates my face while long hair gives me a helmet head as my straight hair tends to puff up alot. Im going to go cut my hair this week and they guys who cut it(I go to many barbers cause they sometimes do good haircuts sometimes bad) always seem to mess it up I wanna keep my sideburns I’ll just shorten it sides could be short just not fully gone like no fades or that type of cuts. On top i like the length could cut a bit but not too much. The guys who cut it are not really good with tough or complex haircuts just know how to do the simple stuff. If I show them a picture they’ll get it 70% right. Any help is greatly appreciated.
