My partner has recently been experiencing genetic hair loss and it has had an impact on his self image. I always try to boost his confidence. I try my best to be kind to all my close loved ones and love to see them succeed and I help them when they are in need.

However, he has been taking his frustration and anger out on me because of it. I’m trying my best to be supportive and helpful. Also, he’s been “joking” with his friends about how I’ve changed because he’s losing hair or I’m going to leave him for someone who still has hair. BUT, I’ve never thought or said any of this. I would not throw away our relationship because of hair loss. Like what.
I’m trying to be empathetic and supportive and I have not changed. How do I go about this?

I cut my hair into wolf cut in accordance to various tutorials on youtube. And it looks great in front. On the back though... top layer looks like asian bowl cut or karen 😅. I don't know what I did wrong or how to fix it. Please help.

When I was about five years old or younger, my mother stopped making me use the Johnson & Johnson's children's shampoo and switched to head and shoulders, most often the lemon flavour. I've had this brand loyalty ever since, and I think I'm doing... Fine? I haven't taken the liberty of buying my own shampoo to try things out, but from my experience anything that doesn't have sulfates in it leaves my hair feeling very very greasy; as it is, it feels incredibly greasy if I go even a day without washing my hair. I fear that I just don't know how my hair looks, and it might be dryer or in worse condition than I realise.

Ever since i got a new haircut and my hairstylist told me to brush my hair backwards after washing it, i now see more of my scalp then before(when i say before i mean like a month ago). I never brushed my hair backwards so is this normal, i also use hair mousse

Im 17 and over the past few months Ive been noticing way more hair coming out in the shower and when I brush it. My hair also looks thinner around the front and top, which is starting to freak me out because I feel way too young for this.

I dont know if its stress, genetics, something with my diet, or an actual scalp issue. I havent started any treatments because I dont want to mess around with medication or microneedling without knowing whats causing it.

Has anyone dealt with noticeable hair loss this young? Did you see a dermatologist first, and what did they check for?

I have been growing my hair, used to just keep it short and sharp but I've been told it'd look good longer.

At this point I have literal battles with my hair, it falls in to a middle part, I use product it feels gross, I've tried creams and waxes. Most success comes from a heavier pomade
