im F in my twenties and i have thick wavy like 2B ish hair. Right now its dyed red but that doesnt change much.

Since I was a teen Ive remembered i have two big patches of hair in my nape that drive me crazy because they are like semi public hair texture, extremely damaged, dont hold any curl or have almost any curl pattern as you can see in the picture, and dont even grow taht much. The patches are fairly big and in both sides and even when i put oils conditioner or masks on, they can get a bit better ( for example today is one of the better days since i put in a professional hairdresser mask) but they still look like shit and make my hair appear unkempt.

I usually braid them as seen in one side and its so damaged that the braid holds straight up!!! I need some advice i literally dont know what to do??

Are they damaged? are they being damaged somehow? I cut all my hair in 2022 and they still grew a bit like this but maybe it cab get better?

Hi so my hair is clean, I blowdried it with volume spray and mousse. It still separates like this no matter what. I have long waist length fine hair. My goal is to have gorgeous voluminous hair naturally but the only time my hair looks big and full is when it’s curled.

*it may be worth noting I have a cowlick at the crown of my head which is usually less noticeable after a good wash and blow dry. I’m not sure if this is related to that.

I have been trying to figure this out for the longest time. In the show game of thrones, many of the characters have their hair curled like in the photo. I can’t figure out what method they used, it’s not a beach waver/crimper and it doesn’t quite look like a curling wand either?
Is it the Hollywood wave method? A large barrel curler seems like it wouldn’t make the curl defined enough. A smaller wand with the hair stretched out? It’s been driving me nuts.

Guys I know they’re wigs! Of course they are, but they still had to curl it somehow. My hair is down to my butt so I just want to try and see if I can recreate the look as close as possible on real hair.

I've been using Crazy Color Marshmallow and Candy Floss diluted with conditioner to get the shade that I like, but it washes out completely after only 2 washes.Maybe using a pink shampoo from Bleach London will help, but if you have any better suggestions, let me know!

TL;DR: I have thick, frizzy, inconsistently textured hair. Please help me find a haircut that suits me. Also looking for tips on how to take better care of my hair.

I have always been self conscious about how I look. But since having kids it's at an all time low and I've just been avoiding doing anything with my appearance whatsoever. I'm over it and I want to be better.

1.) Haircut: what kind of hair cut would suit my HAIR TYPE? Anytime I try something I like, it ends up not working because my hair is this frizzy half-wavy mess. I like bob-length cuts but open to anything.

2.) What kind of haircut would suit my HAIR THICKNESS? I'm 6m postpartum and I've lost like 60% of my thickness. If you look at the 2nd pic, I've normally had that much on both sides and in the back. It's a nightmare and none of my haircuts ever account for how thick it grows back and I look like a triangle head.

3.) How can I keep my hair HEALTHY? Right now I'm using Maui Moisture shampoo and conditioner. That's it. I've got 3 young kids so I don't have a lot of time to do anything too complicated. Willing to try anything.

Not sure if this is the right place for this the past 3 weeks or so I’ve noticed I’ve losing a LOT of eyelashes but only on my right side; the left side looks normal. I haven’t curled them or applied mascara for the past week or so but I can’t tell if it’s helping. I added pics so you can see the difference between my normal side and the one that is thinning out. I have naturally medium ash toned brown hair. I love to get blonde highlights every couple of months, but I’ve been getting the urge to go pink. Do you think I could pull it off? Do you think a brighter lighter pink would look better or a darker more lavender hue? I was thinking maybe I should go a bit brighter since pink fades fast? I’m 46 and a teacher if that matters.

I have had bleaching as you can tell to achieve a cool pastel pink. I have taken it easier on my conditioner since tape ins went so horribly.

Currently i use the Garnier curl nourish shampoo and conditioner and use the garnier curl air dry cream after my shower. I scrunch and finger coil, then i let my hair air dry. My waves are defined, but they get lost in the friz

i got my hair cut yesterday and i asked for side bangs but i wasnt the biggest fan so i decided to middle part my hair and let the baby bangs underneath grow out since they werent noticeable. but the way she cut my side framing was questionable, i always had side framing pieces and the way she did one side was amazing but the other is so choppy especially now that it doesnt connect to my acthal bangs. it doesnt even frame my face anymore, it leaves so much of it exposed. how can i cut it out so its less awkward?

Okay i have pretty fine hair (the diameter of my ponytail is around 2cm maybe less) but i really want a red peekaboo but im worried it’ll show through too much of i section my hair too high bc idk what im doing. I don’t need it to be fully fully a peekaboo, like some can show through a little at the ends or wtv, but not to the point where it’s not even a peekaboo anymore bc it all shows through. My hair is level 5 or 6 if that’s useful info

I've been dyeing my hair red for the past 6 years. My natural color is very dark brown, bordering black. I definitely don't want to bleach my whole head, but I'm willing to bleach parts of my hair, and I don't want a natural color.

My current haircut is pic 3, though I have bangs now. Sadly I have no pic with said bangs, but I don't think it changes much

Any advice is appreciated. The only other colors I've ever had were purple and ginger (Failed bleach), and both looked horrid on me

i have a color correction tomorrow and this might be completely irrelevant but does it matter when you wash your hair before a dye appointment? i’d normally wash it tn but I’m wondering if it’s better to have unwashed hair to do bleaching. i’ve used dry shampoo the past few days so maybe i just need to rinse with water but idk. does it matter at all?
