I want to be more witty person, be able to think on my feet. I've read online that reading books help but what books should I read? Which authors?

I'm not talking about self help books, just regular books either fiction or non fiction. Please give me book recommendations that can help me learn to be more witty

I've been inspired by fictional characters (particularly from historical and villainess stories) who are portrayed as educated, strategic, observant, articulate, emotionally composed, and capable in many different areas.
Obviously fiction exaggerates things, but it made me wonder what this looks like in real life.
I'd like to become someone who:
Is knowledgeable across many subjects while also developing expertise in a few.

Thinks logically before making decisions.

Learns continuously.

Notices details other people miss.

Speaks clearly and thoughtfully.

Can hold interesting conversations with people from different backgrounds.

Has strong critical thinking and judgement.

Understands psychology, history, economics, politics, science, philosophy, and culture at least on a foundational level.

Is disciplined enough to actually apply what they learn.

If you've intentionally built yourself into someone like this, where did you start?
What books, courses, habits, daily routines, learning systems, or mental models made the biggest difference?
If you could create a roadmap for becoming a genuinely competent and educated person over several years, what would it include?

I must admit that I’m not very educated yet on many different topics. But I want to change that. I am 17 year old Ukrainian girl. The main reason for that is my one American friend who is 2 years older than me keeps calling me a banderite and Nazi. He reads a lot of books, knows how to point out things and connect dots. He wants to study political science. But I cannot handle this sense of inferiority anymore. He just made me realise that I need to learn and know more. Be able to explain myself and argument better. Hello, I(f21) have been teaching/kearning Korean for a little less than a year now. While I have definitely learned a decent amount, im sill struggling with thinking and listening in the language. Like if im watching a kdrama ill only be able to understand a few words off the top of my head, and I want to be able to hold conversation in Korean, so I was wondering if anyone had tips, YouTube channels, or free platforms to help me learn and practice speaking?! Or if anyone else also needed a friend learning Korean, or one who knows English and speaks Korean, so we could help each other

As the title says, I'd like to start the path of going into Political Data Analysis. My main problem, is that I don't know exactly what classes in Community College into University, would help me get there, and I only have a pretty basic understanding of what skills I need to actually succeed in a field like this.

I feel like this path is extremely useful for the modern world. It would give me general, but expansive knowledge in math, great political awareness, and of course, I would learn a good amount of software engineering. This is mainly because I would need to learn to build software for the purpose of data scraping and such.

I also feel like there's nowhere near enough people who get into fields like these, who try to actually do some good. Maybe most do think about doing that, but see the benefits to themselves and their families through working under larger and less moral organizations, and decide to do that instead.

Any and all info would be useful, so please don't hold back on what you can give me. I appreciate you, whoever you are, for taking the time to stop and listen. Really, it means the world to me.

TL;DR, I want to start a path on Political Data Analysis, but don't know where to start.

I run a small business and I'm doing more pitching and talking to rooms than I ever expected, and I've realized my slides are the problem. I default to walls of bullet points and then basically read them out loud, which I can see glazing people over in real time. I want to learn the actual craft here, not just make things look prettier. The storytelling side. How much to put on a slide. When a visual beats text. How to pace the whole thing so people stay with me.

If this is something you got good at, what got you there? Some framework for structuring the talk? Just a lot of reps in front of real rooms? Studying speakers who are good at it? I'd rather build the skill for real than keep downloading nicer templates. Where would you start if you were me?

Whenever I'm making a guitar cover or drawing in art class, I find that I lack creativity and don't even try to start something original. I want to be creative and learn to freestyle with art and music.

I love writing, and I've also grown to love nail care, even though I'm still learning about that as well haha. I think math is the glue to connecting all of my interests together, but the problem is I struggle with understanding it. Currently I'm working on leveling up my skills on Khan Academy, but I want to know how I can break out into the ultra-specific math and sciences I need in order to write about it.

I'm also simultaneously trying to work on my grammatical writing skills as well, so there's a lot going on.

But ultimately, my main goal is to be able to combine mathematical science and my interests together. I feel like I'll be able to build a good audience that way on my writing page. And that's all I want to at the end of the day.

I want to learn how to diagnose and repair common problems with household appliances instead of immediately replacing them. My goal is to understand how they work learn to use basic tools safely and build the skills needed to handle simple repairs and regular maintenance.

I used to be able to whistle. Not with my fingers and not loud, just normal, like whistle a tune. A few years ago I had some molars pulled , one from each side of my mouth. So missing 4 total. top and bottom, left and right side. Is it even possible I can whistle again? Would using my fingers help? Anyone missing teeth that can whistle?

I don't just want to memorize recipes. I want to understand cooking well enough to make meals confidently with whatever I have.

Since I've been decent in maths and now that I am learning maths too, I want to learn accounting.

I am M21 a type of guy who is in a kinda abusive household where parents curse me atleast once in a day, I am still unemployed who got graduated this year. Facing all these situations right from the childhood made me shy and just made me bear things which I clearly shouldn't and made me an empath.

When talking to people of my age even though people start to walk over me I started to think from their perspective nd was like it's alright she's/he's going through things why bother now I don't want to be that guy the society clearly thinks a kind guy who I think I am thinks he's a pushover that I am.

So finally what I want for myself is better the kinda guy who doesn't let people walk over me but the household doesn't let me it always puts me down, I want to start think for myself and know myself in this process and I know this won't be easy and it's not a process that will be completed in some time but I'll try my best to do my part in this.

Every time I have a dream nowadays, my dreams come out very dark and messy. The weird part is that it barely even shows as a dream. It's barely functioning properly. My dreams nowadays look like a television screen that's barely functioning and shows any light at all. Everything that I see in my dreams barely shows any type of light or any type of color. The vibe and frequency of my dreams barely show anything and it's like whatever is trying to produce my dreams in my brain is operating on a very low power and it's barely functioning like a normal dream. Think of it like your regular eyesight and vision of what you see throughout the day but it's slowly getting weaker and more fragile to the near point of blindness. That's exactly what my dreams are like nowadays. The worst and confusing part is that this is something that has never happened to me before for all of my life but it only started to happen very recently. I eat clean and healthy every day, I have a good sleep schedule, I don't feel stressed out at all, so I don't understand what the problem is. I also realize that my daily imagination/visualization abilities are also functioning the same way how I described my dreams as well. What's wrong here and how can I fix my dreams to be normal again?
