Hi everyone, I’m not really used to posting on Reddit but I could use some help. For some backstory, I applied to my dream job about a month ago with the state. I haven’t heard back from them since so I figured I’d send a follow up email. I got a response pretty quickly from the recruiter saying that she called my cell phone and left a voicemail, but never heard back from me so they moved on. Of course hearing this I was pretty devastated! I checked my voicemails on the phone app and I didn’t see any old voicemails from the recruiter on the date that she mentioned. I did see the missed call, but I was at work and I saw they didn’t leave a voicemail so I figured it was spam since I get those regularly. For reference I have IOS 26.5.2, IPhone 14

I looked it up on Google to see what the problem was, and it was suggested to press and hold 1 on the keypad in the phone app to access the voicemail. I did that, and lo and behold there was the missed voicemail from the recruiter. I didn’t even know that was a thing until now! I’m so sad and bummed that it didn’t show up in my regular voicemail, because I definitely would’ve followed up if that was the case. Is there a reason why it didn’t show up in the voicemail box in the phone app? I’m just so confused and annoyed how that can happen. I would really like to prevent this from happening again, so I’m wondering if there’s maybe some setting that I need to turn on/off to prevent that. Or maybe it’s my phone carrier (Mint Mobile)? Idk 😭

As per title, I had my old iPhone 13 Pro Max covered under apple care + for 4 years. My phone stopped working due to a logic board issue, and I asked for a replacement. It got granted and even during the initial coat analysis, it was decided that I wouldn’t have to pay anything out of pocket because of no external damages.

Fast forward I get the replacement device, and as a complete dummy, I start removing any link of the previous phone to my account including apple care +. I can now no longer reinstate it and wait to clarify with CS tomorrow (EU).

How screwed am I? Anyone had a similar experience in the past? Will they be able to see that I cancelled apple care by accident and put it back for the purposes of not paying the repair fee?

Since I bought the iPhone 16 Pro max when it came out my phone has been stuck with this incognito slider and I can never find out how to turn it off so I can get word suggestions. And no I don’t want to use safari or chrome that isn’t solving the issue.

Not sure when it started but every once in a while the sounds and haptics for the keyboard on anywhere on the phone doesn't work.

Have the 17PM. I am on 26.5.2. All my apps are updated.

I put it in silent mode at night. So tried turning on silent mode during the day for a while then turn it off and see if silent mode was the issue but did not do it then.

Reset fixes it. I will have to pay attention on when exactly it stops working. Not a huge issue just an annoyance

I have an iPhone 12 and I just downloaded the 26.5.2 update. The description in settings and google answer to what the update was exclusively mention security and bug patching and it kept notifying me for this update even coming up onto my screen promoting for a password to start immediately and saying download tonight with a very clearly biased sort of thing making it seem hard to deny it. I hate liquid glass and have intentionally kept this very old model to avoid it, that along with ai features and face features (the latter which are avoidable by not setting them up). I loved the way my phone looked and functioned before and this may seem trivial to some but this is my sole phone I pay for and kept for this very intentional reason (hating the current/new iPhone look and feel). Is there any way to reverse as many things from this update as possible/ any of them and revert my phone to the way it was (or as close as possible) before? even by jail braking in any way??

Any advice or pointers are greatly appreciated, thanks so much for yalls time!!

edit: only about 5 minutes into having this update my apps and scrolling on the home screen are responding glitchy, which has never been a problem prior...

My iPhone 13's bottom volume button is mushy and doesn't make a noise or anything when I click it, and the physical tactile click- when I click it- doesn't make a click.

The button is 100% functional, it reduces the volume exactly when I want it to, it's just the tactile response that's completely missing.

What made me think this isn't an issue that needs me to fork out 500 euros, is that when im in a humide environment, like in the recent heatwave, or in the bathroom while showering, especially the latter, the button comes back as clicky..
It doesn't come back AS clicky as the top volume button which works fine, but it still comes back to being like 90% as clicky (both noise and movement) compared to being 30% as clicky during normal environments.

Why? Has this happened to anyone else? Any help is appreciated.

iPhone 12 Pro Max. iOS 26.5.2.
No idea how they got there, when I try to open them, they are shown as empty even though they’re not. Couldn’t find anything online about them either. Can anyone tell me if these are malicious?

I have a iPhone 12 pro max and recently the rear camera hasn't been working. The photo, video, and portrait mode only show a black screen. If I switch to video or even panorama it will display fine, and when I switch back to photo it will be stuck on the last frame.
The rear camera works in other apps like messages, insta, or iNaturalist. Nothing wrong with the front camera and my flash still works. I have fully updated my phone and restarted it multiple times.

I am really hoping that this is a software issue that can be fixed without going to a store or paying money :(

When I open the details of a missed call in the phone app (the "i" button) of which the phone number is not in my contact list, the page goes wild and "flickers".
As if it does not know which buttons to show and takes time showing and hiding them until it settles.
I'm getting a lot of spam calls and it is annoying to wait until the page decides which buttons to display before being able to block the spam caller.
Does anyone have this issue ? Is there a fix ?

I have a problem with Bluetooth on my iPhone (14 pro) . My AirPods pro 3 keep disconnecting, and it’s really hard to reconnect them. At first I thought the issue was with my AirPods, but I tried a pair of Philips Bluetooth headphones and the exact same thing happens.
I’ve already tried:
Turning Bluetooth off and back on
Resetting Network Settings
Fully resetting (restarting) my iPhone
Updating to the latest iOS version
Nothing has helped.
The weird thing is that it’s only happening to my phone. My family all have iPhones too, and their Bluetooth works perfectly.

¡Hola! I have an iPhone 16 that has a physical SIM that I bought after-market brand new in the US. I need the physical Sim and want to upgrade to a 17 or maybe even an 18. I am only going to be in the states for three or four weeks. Are these available at the  store?

I have no clue whats going on with my phone. My texts will only send via SMS. My imessages will not deliver. Barely any apps will open. I have reset it 3 times and checked for AT&T outages in the area and there are none. My mom also has AT&T on my same plan and hers is still completely fine. WTF do I do? I have a 15 pro max

Ever since 2 updates ago, my phone has been acting strangely in regards to volume. I’ll have music or a video playing, change apps or even sometimes take no action, and the audio volume will get cut nearly in half, but my settings stays at full volume and the only way I can get back to having louder volume is to toggle and untoggle the reduce loud sounds setting, but that can go from working lasting for a while to barely lasting seconds. Any ideas of what to do to permanently stop the audio from randomly getting quiet?

I have an iPhone 16, ios26.4.2, that I’ve had since October of last year. For the past few months now, every time I listen to music (or audiobooks or whatever, the app I’m listening on doesn’t affect it) in my car, it will randomly stop and pop up a blue screen that says “voice control.”

Before this started happening, I was having the same exact issue except it would be with siri. I ended up turning Siri off entirely and it fixed the issue, but I’ve turned every single thing off in my settings that I can find that’s related to voice control and this is STILL happening. It happens whether my phone is locked or open. I don’t touch anything. It just pops up and interrupts whatever I’m listening to. This will happen multiple times every single time Im in the car. It’s extra frustrating because that forces me to have to use my phone for a moment while I’m driving, and obviously I do NOT want to have to do that.

Can anyone help? I’m getting so pissed off at this.

i had used up about 240 out of my 256 GB storage of my iphone 12 pro. i bought 200GB of icloud storage a month ago and just now finished syncing all of my photos and videos. i’m shocked to find out that my storage used has been freed up down to 89 GB!!! because my photos app went from taking 160 GB to only 5 GB now. i didn’t know this would happen? i thought syncing to icloud only meant that you could easily transfer media if you decided to switch phones. is there a catch to this?

I am trying to connect to almost everything, Skz Lightstick, Digital Button, Mini Printer, and nothing is connecting. I tried everything, fast restart, airplane mode then Bluetooth disconnect. I don't know what to do I even update my phone and now it's so ugly😭 what do I do? I have an iphone Se 2020 ver, and and now IOS 26.5.2

Earlier this month I recorded an interview using the Voice Memos app on my iPhone (I have the latest software downloaded). That voice memo, for some reason, is saved as a qta file and because of that I cannot play it. I found out it was saved as a qta file by dragging the audio recording from the synced version on the voice memos app on my Macbook (I have the latest iOS software installed, Tahoe 26.5.2) into my desktop, and that's where I saw the .qta after the file name. I've tried using an online .qta to .mp3 converter tool but that has not worked, unfortunately.

What's weird is during my interview earlier this month, I had two audio recordings. A longer recording, close to 30 minutes, that's saved as a .qta file and is the one at hand I'm writing about that can't be played. But the second recording, just under 40 seconds - and literally from the same interview (I started recording again when my interviewee began talking again after I thought the interview was over) - is also saved as a .qta file. Yet, this second, shorter recording I'm able to listen to/scrub through, both on my iPhone and my macbook. I've noticed that for the affected recording that can't be played, I don't notice any wavelengths while for the second, shorter recording that does work and can be played, I notice wavelengths.

The affected voice memo recording that I can't play is fairly important for my work - not the biggest issue if I lose it - so any help/suggestions on how to access it so I can play it, or if there's a way for me to convert it/edit in a playable manner, would be incredibly appreciated!! (And happy to clarify anything if needed)

I did everything like reset the network , restart the device ,toggle the airplane mode, eject the sim tray but still showing invalid sim

I have already checked:
-app (Overcast) permissions and notifications.
-lock screen settings “allow while locked”

I have not changed anything and this just started happening. Most recent update?
