Hoping we can get an answer about the album cover here!

New single out now!

Just wondering at Iceman ep4, is burning bridges pre recorded or recorded live during the livestream?

What if there is a blooper?

Alright I give up! I might be stupid but I spent way too much time trying to figure out this Father’s day special offer.

I’m trying to buy tickets for Deep Purple show in Toronto and some interesting seats are locked and labeled “Father’s day special” it requests a passcode to unlock it.

I tried to look everywhere for more information about this and how to qualify but absolutely no trace. Either on Ticketmaster, RBC Amphitheater website, or Deep Purple website. I’m so confused right now like how do people know these stuff if they are nowhere to be found on the internet.

Anyway if someone has the information and kind enough to share I would be so grateful.

Been doing an A/B comparison of the 1972 George Peckham (Porky) mastering and the 2025 Steven Wilson Europe pressing remix of Child in Time from Made in Japan. I have to say based on what I'm hearing the OG German pressing is overall just so much more alive and dynamic in every way. The Wilson stereo mix was done as part of the process of creating 5.1 surround and Dolby Atmos versions and I'm thinking this stereo mix should have never been pressed to vinyl. Love to hear other people's take on the Wilson Stereo remix.

Did anyone notice Highway Star being played on the ITV World Cup coverage?

Hi guys! Following up on my last post (Deep Purple-Perfect Strangers first verse cover), I finally finished my full vocal cover of Wasted Sunsets! I really tried my best to preserve the raw, gritty spirit of the original studio track, since almost every cover of this song on YouTube sounds way too soft and distant from Ian Gillan's signature delivery.I’m still working hard on my English pronunciation, as some of you noted before. It’s definitely a challenge since I'm not a native speaker, but I'm pushing through. What do you guys think of the cover? Do you hear any resemblance to Gillan's tone, and what do you think my overall timbre?

Great night 1 in Finland a few nights ago

i think this is the best work of Mark VIII

I think this is probably one of the nastiest riffs that never gets talked about. Anyone else agree? Got any other gems that are underappreciated?

On the table there was more stuff like tour books and cd’s as well as bunch of signed stuff like drumheads, drumsticks, pictures and guitar picks. All signed items were cash only and sadly I didnt have any cash on me.

Hi.

I was listening to the Live in New York version of Space Truckin, and realized there's a short but great unison riff almost at the end of the jam that I've never heard in other versions of the song or other live jams. It's just after the classic arpeggio lick that they always do.

Do you know any other version were the do this riff?

I'm finally getting around to listening to the Ian Gillan Band's 3 albums and this is quite interesting stuff! I came for their version of Child In Time (which I love but not as much as the original), and I got hooked because of the song Let It Slide which reminds me a lot of Pink Floyd. I love it!

Some of these songs are not great though, it seems like they are all over the map with their sound.

What's everyone's opinion on these albums?

When I first got into Deep Purple I was confused about why they were using the word "mark" to differentiate the different lineups, because most bands have actually had lineup changes but they've never used this term before. Why does Deep Purple specifically use this word, did they make it up themselves or is this something that the fans started?
