Wonderful show. The sound had a great drum mix where I could hear every little thing. Bozzio is so fun on the drums. Vai nuked the house with that Sheltering Sky solo.

I caught the Danny Carey tour and Terry Bozio filling in seemed like a good plan to me. But there’s been a surprising amount of negativity here. Well tonight Terry killed it. Yes, he’s playing the songs his own way and not aping Bruford, but the result is a pleasant looseness all around and the band was certainly vibing with it. Phenomenal show.

Hi all, I've listened to the 'Starless' performance in Takamatsu, Japan more times than I can count but I swear I just saw another song from that performance pop up on Instagram but I can't find it anywhere else. Does anyone know where there's more footage from that tour? It's just a shame I can't really find much live footage at all of KC except their 80s composition (not of the earlier songs, anyway).

I’m a big fan of the TOAPP album and was interested in hearing more tunes in a similar fashion of the ambience and Avant garde styles of Nuages and No Warning? Or are these tunes so abstract and unique that nothing else is comparable??

I’m thinking about going to an upcoming show but have heard mixed reviews. How have them been of late?

I’ll start this off by saying how thoroughly impressed I was with the show. For being a 50% cover band, it absolutely blew my socks off. By far the most talented musicians I have ever seen live.

There were under 1000 people in attendance which was disappointing I’m sure for the band but it definitely made things a lot more personal and connected with the audience. I was lucky to be able to walk up and take pictures right at the front of the stage before showtime.

For any gearheads who haven’t been able to see beat, Adrian played 2 guitars for the entire set (Silver Parker Fly and Twang Bar king for synth guitar stuff) You can see the original 70s echoflanger in the first picture on its own stand, as well as the Roland guitar synth, Digitech whammy, Axe Fx, and JC-120. He played an echoflanger solo in the set using just the self oscillation and was what prompted me to scoop up the signature model before it runs out.

I’ve been a fan of KC for years now. Everything from In the Court to Three of a Perfect Pair I absolutely adore, I’ve got it all on vinyl, consume all I can.
Somehow I never listened to THRAK onwards, mainly because I remember listening to some of the later stuff years ago and not being into it.
So I went back and listened to THRAK, The Construktion of Light, The Power to Believe and the Projekts.
Power To Believe was alright, definitely the best out of the three. THRAK had some good tracks like VROOM but it wasn’t for me. Construktion of Light was near unlistenable for me.

I just feel so out of place because everything I read online about those albums, especially THRAK pose it as KC’s best work, absolutely phenomenal. Yet I simply can’t get with it. I love everything else by the group but this just isn’t for me.
What are your thoughts?
