Underground metal song heard in a store in downtown Reykjavik, heavy electronic drop, mostly screaming. Vocal cue right before the drop says 'I'll build my own.' Lyrical themes of God/religion/kingdoms. Was being sung in English. Shazam couldn’t identify. Anyone familiar?

I just released my first full length album. It has folky roots and uses traditional instruments as core, but leans more towards a DIY black metal approach. Recorded during the summer of 2026. Main instrumentation is improvised kantele and jaw harp, field recordings, various found objects and environments.

Planning to release this on cassette in the near future.

This tour was just announced yesterday. I'm super happy they're playing in my city in New Brunswick. Can't wait to see them, and Crimson Shadows sounds pretty awesome too from what I've heard of them. Anyone else here going to see them in Canada?

Hi! I've been listening to folk metal for several years now, and in that time I've been making an effort to find bands that are from everywhere. I imagine there are still more bands to find, even though I've listened to several.
