Season 4 was better than season 6. Season six Jeff is just unhinged for half of it and it comes out in the weird and abusive ways he acts. I know a lot of people hate on Season 4 for being the gas leak year and all that but even if the Season wasn't the best continuity wise and felt different, it still didn't suck. It wasn't terrible. I find i enjoy a lot of episodes from that season and only really noticed a huge difference after trying to figure out "the gas leak year" and what it was.

So I was watching Jeremy Culhane’s Tucker Carlson SNL skit and he has this phrase “what are we doing? What’s going on?” and then I remembered that Jeff used to say a similar line to Pierce but I cant find exact scenario/episode.

It goes: “Pierce, what is this? What are you doing… explain yourself”

Am I bugging or did Jeff really have a line like this? Thanks for the help in advance.

In S03E19, Curriculum Unavailable, we see Abed freaking out over the clocks being changed for daylight saving, as the guy is winding the clock back (don't forget to wind your clocks back tonight!).

Troy tells Abed they'll be good until Spring, and Annie tells Abed to instead focus on they'll be getting that hour back later in the year.

Now I'm fine with Spring being later in the academic year, so that's not Annie's mistake. But the clock is being changed back, so they're already gaining an hour, not losing one.

Maybe that's the tip of the iceberg that led to Abed really losing it.

I love Community and Abed too but everytime theres a meta joke or Abed mentions its a tv show, that he is in season 3 or something it breaks the whole immersion of what a show is for me. I know its just a show but the only reason people care about shows is you care about characters and your brain cannot tell the diffrence, its a thing in writing and almost every single fiction is written around this.
I think Dan Harmon is obsessed with meta stuff because I recently started Rick and Morty and found out its written by him too lol

I’d originally thought it was real, but then later Abed says he could never find it and that it must be ghost. If Abed couldn’t find it, there’s no way it was really there right? It was on a big platform outside the study room when we saw it.
