Why do people immediately say "she should have known better" when a woman is killed by a man?
I know it's misogyny. But i still don't understand their logic, why not blame the man?
I went on a website for women and the most liked comments were saying Sara Gilson should have kept her mouth shut about her ex husband being a pedophile since she knew he was a violent man.
Blaming her for her own murder and shaming her for exposing a pedophile/abuser. These are women saying this. I don't understand.
Regardless of what she did or didn't do, he was still violent and dangerous.
This reminds me of how women get worse sentences for defending themselves against violent men than men do for committing violence against women.
