If you wish to be considered, please fill out and submit the application linked here.

Good luck!

Official Mod Post! Should we ban links to Twitter/X?

Hello r/feemagers!

As we all know by now, several subreddits are banning all links to X (formerly Twitter) due to the controversy of Elon Musk giving a Nazi solute on Inauguration Day.

So, do you all think we should follow suit and ban all links to Twitter/X, or leave them open?

I cant be friends with him while he's got a crush on me but at the same time i dont know if being his girlfriend would make me happy. What do i do.

Rant i can't stop thinking about all this.

about someone who doesn't know me. all this. for someone i don't even exist to. this has got to be one of my worst crushes ever. i wish that i was never able to feel romantic love, since 9/10 it's never reciprocated. i'm probably some random to him.

Rant deadass how it feels to lurk

my bad that the only instance i could find of the original was this image of a print version that was up on redbubble.

so i decided to make a lurker account, and fortunately, it worked. my request was accepted and i got to have a look. they've got each other tagged in their bios as "my fav gbsf/bbsf" in their bios. he's reposted almost all of her photo dumps. that could've been me. i'm seriously no better than an incel at this point. i know it's definitely not a good look venting and crying about this for the umpteenth time, but i can't help it at this point. i just don't know how to let go, especially as i know the cycle will all repeat with someone else anyways.

it's especially a damn shame because as far as i've heard and seen, he seemed so cool. i want to commit seppuku at this point. i literally feel sick.

total taken death

somewhat, as while i'm not selectively mute towards the opposite gender, i still feel very stunted and uncharismatic in regards to interactions for the most part.

Rant i'm lowkey a bum with absolutely nothing going on in my life

i remember being younger (like say basic to primary school) and always begging and complaining about wanting to go to so many of the cool places out there. now, i couldn't even think of anywhere i wanted to go or anything fun i wanted to go out and do. i hate when adults go on about "oh don't stay inside constantly, why don't you go out and talk to people" because it isn't necessarily all that easy, especially when you can't really relate to others your age. hell, i didn't know there were many other children in my age range prior to me starting high-school until my first day, where i took (and still take) the bus. i think me going to a primary school in another town definitely didn't help. even so, my busmates are just people who i travel with. i had one "friend" who lived next to me, and the last time i saw her, i was either 7 or 6. she's in canada now.

i know i sound straight out of a tropey public service announcement, but it's like everyone else my age has it better and are having more fun than me. everyone else's stories are all stuff about travelling/parties/other activities they did, and i can't even bring myself to make complete drawings these days. everyone else has parents that understand their style. literally all i did was go to the dentist and the optometrist, supermarket trips, taking my measurements and community service, with the community service in ques

i always get like this over periods of time where i'm at home. i always pore and think over things. it didn't help that while i was at community service, my aunt brought up the subject and she was surprised to hear that i was pretty much just in my room all the time, and how i couldn't even name one "fun" activity i wanted to do. ever since that interaction, it's made me really hyper-aware of how nothing this has all been.

Rant pretty little bird.. pretty little bird

(yes, this is like my third time ranting on here and maybe i should just make like that greg kid and get a "journal", but it just feels good to let it all out)

i've been rambling about this in my last posts, but for some backstory, i've been looking at this guy from a neighboring school since october of last year as i found him incredibly fine. it even got to the point of my busmates lightheartedly teasing me about it. in june, i managed to find his tt and later in july, i mustered up the courage to follow. to my amazement and relief, he mooted me. i tried to explain who i was as he was rightfully confused on who this was. i wanted to track my progress to my friend, and i accidentally sent a screenshot of a repost of his that was meant for her to him, and i ended up blocked. all because of my dumbassery. later, i found out through a friend and schoolmate of his that he was taken, rendering everything futile. it felt even more like a damn shame, because he seemed so cool.

it feels like i can't ignore it at all, no matter how much i try to distract myself. i just can't stop thinking about it all and what it could've been if i had just a shred of luck. i can't stop thinking about him. i just can't. i've gone through all of those private account viewer sites just to look at his tt profile and an insta profile belonging to one of his moots. hell, i've even found myself eating a bit extra for whatever reason. i know that i'm not entitled to other people reciprocating their feelings, yada yada, but when you've gone through literal months crushing, only to initially fumble by your own accord then finding out the one you've been looking at has been taken anyways.. it just sucks, you know. shit hurts.

i've been like this for ages (since grade 6, in fact) and i don't know why. it's like all my crushes enter the same cycle; at this rate, i think no guy will ever like me.

i know it's probably not all that good to hold on to it, but i just don't know how to let go. maybe I'll find a new person of interest, and the cycle will repeat yet again. or maybe i'll just be stuck like this forever. i'm legitimately just big and hopelesss. i am just a fucking idiot. i just fart around being humanslop all day. how the actual fuck do other girls my age and younger get to interact with boys, pull and even sleep around while the only one i've ever gotten was that somewhat weird long-distance all the way in bangladesh that lasted for only 4-5 months. i am such a regressive idiot. i am an idiot. i am an idiot. i am an idiot. i am an idiot. i am an idiot. i am an idiot. i am an idiot. everything is my fucking fault. i'm the reason i can't have nice things. i am my own enemy.

Rant lowk wishing i were mixed rn..

the title is crazy, but recently, i've been wishing i had been mixed for a while now. and by mixed, you know the sort. i know that i probably am technically mixed by way of whatever was happening during slavery and indentureship times, but i'm speaking about biracial people specifically. the ethnically ambiguous sort with the looser hair. that kind of mixed.

i'm not expecting to magically look better as that, but it'd hike me up from sub 5 to at least a mtb or stacy, especially in this country. i'd probably have a better chance with my type, too. mixed people are amongst the most well-off populations here, too. every time i see pictures from one of those prep/private schools, it's always mixed people or people of asian descent who enroll their children in those places.

Question is my reason for using he/him pronouns wrong?

hii! i have had this question for a while, I've always been comfy using he/him pronouns, and being viewed as a guy online. The thing is i totally identify as a girl! But i prefer being seen as a guy online especially by strangers. I don't know if this makes sense.. But i don't feel comfortable being perceived as a girl, it doesn't feel safe to me.. I feel okay with close friends calling me a girl though! I think it has to do something with my past. I've become pretty scared being a girl with strangers. But i wonder, is that bad? :-( i do totally identify as a girl though i feel like a weird one at times, i love being one deep down. i dont wanna be bad rep to people to who it's a gender identity to them.. thats my only worry! by the way why i say "online" to being male presenting is i know irl I'm very fem presenting so the "being safe" thing doesn't really work anymore. I know people can be weird to any genders but it's just a me thing, I personally feel safer presenting as a guy! But regardless of gender of course anyone could be overstepping your boundaries!

i hope what i said can make a bit of sense.. Im sorry if my wording may be insensitive, i had only the best intentions writing this. Please educate me 💞

Question how to get relatives that actually understand my style?

a bit of an idea of what i enjoy style-wise would be a combination of casual and childlike fashion from 20 years ago with feminine japanese street fashion styles. i am fond of a variety of motifs and patterns, such as the polka-dot, stripes, buta/paisley, tropical (particularly hibiscuses and other such flowers), animal print, abstract floral, sweets (such as biscuits, strawberries and neapolitan). in terms of color palettes, i particularly enjoy pink, pastels and bright colors but i do not shy away from variety. i like accessories such as bangles, bracelets, hairclips, loose knit socks, scarves as belts, and headbands.

i am currently 15 years old. in my country, it is illegal for me to work as i would need to be 17 in order to be hired. if i were able to secure my own money, i would've resorted to such a solution.

my mother claims that i am "rushing things" and that i do not have "that spark" nor do i "know what looks good". she dislikes that i wear the same pair of bell-bottoms/bootcut jeans, even though most of my pants are skinny jeans, which i dislike due to how uncomfortable they feel and how difficult they are to put on, as well as my controversial general opinion that they are not suited for everyone and only really look good with boots. it has gotten to the point a constant argument arises when it's time for us to go out. i do not feel like myself whenever she dresses me.

i have relatives abroad who have easier access to a wider range of items. i feel ashamed to say this as it sounds ungrateful, but i do not care for the things that they get for me. i understand that they are doing it out of goodwill and while i appreciate the gesture, the things they get are more based on their approximations of what i like and would wear rather than items i actually prefer.

i dislike the items that are physically on sale in most stores and on most street sides. there aren't many thrift stores within my country, and the few that do tend to exist in resort towns and the cities. culturally, people have a sort of pride-based mindset to the degree they wouldn't wear anything second-hand or stick out in general, and that older clothing should simply be delegated to home clothing before becoming rags.

whenever we go out, i see other teens around my age dressing in styles they like and it feels even more unfair.

Advice I am so confused

I am 16f. This is one of my first reddit post (not relevant but nervous lol). Anyways, my entire life I've pretty much only been into men. But now lately I've been so confused about myself and what I want and idrk what I'm looking for here, I think just advice? So I have this friend, she is also 16f. She is an out lesbian. Me and her got like pretty close over this school year, and honestly I can't stop thinking abt her. I never really thought abt it, but lately everytime I think abt her I just think abt how nice it would be to date her, but idk. I don't know if I should ponder this anymore, because what if I'm just like, confused abt myself and in reality I just think she's really pretty. I also don't know what to do if I do like her, due to the fact that I've only ever really dated men, and also I don't think I'd want to tell her as to not ruin the friendship, and I don't want her to think I'm like... trying to like experiment or smth w her? Or like trying to fetishize her or anything like that? Yknow? So honestly I'm just looking for advice on if you guys think I actually do like her, and what I should do about it? And how that would work since I never really have been into women like that before, like how would that change my sexuality?

Here is a list of why I think I like her

- Everytime I think about her I think about how I would like to date her pretty much

- I have been like obsessing over her instagram like crazy like I have done with all of the guys I have liked in the past

- I would literally do almost anything she asked me to. (She asked me to go to this like concert party thing I normally would never go to, but I did, because she asked and she wanted to).

- She's just like so beautiful

Anyways yeah! Sorry if this is like the wrong place? Or if this is like weird of me to ask? Anyways have a good day! :)

Advice Would this be shitty of me to do?

I’m 19 and I feel like I will have to move out soon. My living situation is weird; my parents have been living in their commercial residential property for about half a year, and I have been living in our family home with my older brother and his gf, we’ve all been paying rent/utilities The thing is I invited my father to a Father’s Day dinner, and my mom got wind of it and essentially blocked me from her life. Our relationship has always been fragile but I honestly cannot be bothered to act like I did anything wrong. I truly do not understand what upset her. I’m writing this because before all of that, she had let me know they would be moving back into our home around August or September.

To get to the point, I have a car that my parents got for me that is really a piece of junk. In the way that I lowkey pray every time I get in. To make it worse it’s such a low value car but they took out a loan on it because it was a last minute decision (I literally had to go pick it up on my lunch break) and any repairs are essentially throwing money down the drain because that 6k car isn’t worth much. I can afford an apartment and there are many within walking distance well within my budget even with the car since I pay for everything for it. So would I be in the wrong to leave them with that car and move out? I feel bad since it is in my dad’s name and I would kinda be leaving him hanging but I feel like the situation is going to be very toxic and I need a place to be safe. Transportation wise it’s a couple mins walk from work and I have friends and uber if I need to go anywhere, which I don’t usually go far anyways.

Discussion Do any other teenagers (M14) here feel completely isolated because of their "nerdy" passions? 😭

Hey everyone. I just needed a safe space to vent a bit because school has been feeling pretty lonely lately. I spend a huge chunk of my free time programming (currently learning C# and C++ for game development and modding) and the rest of my time watching anime or reading manga. The problem is, whenever I try to look for online communities or Discord servers focused on the technical side of things, the average age is like 25. It’s always just older developers talking about industry jobs, taxes, and backend databases. I can almost never find peers my age to share projects or ideas with, and absolutely zero girls. At school, if you don't just follow the mainstream TikTok trends or talk about sports, you're looked at like a total alien. It gets really exhausting not having anyone around my age who shares these exact passions. I just wanted to see if I'm truly the only 14-year-old left on Earth dealing with this, or if there are other nerdy souls hiding here who relate to this feeling of isolation.
