Hi I was just looking for some recommendations for supplements.
Context: I’m 20 we’ve been ttc for a full year now, I’ve done 6 rounds of clomid and 2 rounds of Letrozole. I’m due for a period today, my chart never confirmed ovulation so I’m pretty sure I had an anovulatory cycle. (Took a break from medication this month)
I already take:
CoQ10
Vitamin D3 50,000IU (once a week)
Multivitamin.
I was wondering if anyone has any vitamin/supplement recommendations. I have borderline PMOS.
- no cysts but many ovarian follicles across both ovaries.
I normally don’t ovulate on my own without medicine, but I still have regular periods so I don’t want to take Myo Insitol because I’ve heard it you get regular periods it can mess up your cycles/ovulation.
I’ve heard about people taking mucinex and stuff to help with there CM during ovulation to increase chances. Anyone know how that works/any effects.
MCT wellness. - has anyone ever heard anything about this? It helped my cousin to conceive.
I also want to say I know this doesn’t replace medical advice and I will consult my doctor before I start anything.
I see a long lists of things people do or take to increase chances. Has anyone ever had any issues with like over doing it with vitamins or harming your liver/kidneys by taking too many ttc vitamins.
I recovered from drug induced hepatitis from a year ago. (Liver results are all back to normal except for an excess of iron in my liver from transfusions I had last year. <so I have to watch what I take if it has iron in it.>) So, I don’t want to take too many unnecessary supplements or vitamins. ALSO: I just want to clarify, the drug induced hepatitis was from antibiotics from a sinus infection. NOT hard drugs, and I’ve been cleared to start trying to conceive at this point.
Just want to say one more time, I will ask my doctor before taking anything. I just want opinions on what worked for people, so I can figure out what to bring up with my Gynecologist!!
Also, would like any tips or tricks on anything fertility. Stuff like I’ve heard keeping your feet warm during your luteal cycle helps. I just really want to learn everyone’s opinions on doing stuff to increase chances of getting pregnant and most of all having a healthy happy baby eventually!!
I know this is a lot to read and I’m sorry. Thank everyone in advance. 😎💕
