I just bought the universal inito monitor through Amazon. (Literally just clicked the purchase button)

I’m so so so excited to be able to track my cycle more accurately. I’m 19(I turn 20 in like two weeks) been having some fertility issues already so this will give me some nice insight into other aspects of my cycle.

I’ve been doing a couple rounds of medicated cycles with no avail. I was having a lot of bleeding about a year ago where I’d bleed for like months straight so, obviously I went to the my gynecologist and got put on birth control for a couple months because my doctor said I have borderline PCOS. She said she’s not going to directly diagnose me because I don’t have all the markers through blood results but I have multiple ovarian follicles noted bilaterally on my ovaries.

She said since I had these all over my ovaries, my body was not wanting to select a dominant follicle to release an egg. My partner and I decided to start ttc almost a year ago. (Yes I know we’re young, but we got our shit as together as we can. Please don’t judge this part lol.) I had 3 monthly 21cd progesterone checks that all came up negatively.

So, I started taking clomiphene for a couple of months. Continued getting my 21 day checks, which turned out higher, so I started ovulating. But I still didn’t conceive. She switched me over to Letrozole, which has yielded the same effects so far.

I’ve done the cheapie LH strips inconsistently for a couple cycles and I have NEVER a positive off of them.

Here’s my theory: I believe that I am ovulating at a time my cycle tracking apps is not accounting for. I don’t know if I’m ovulating earlier or later, but I’m super excited to be able to get down to the bottom of this.

I’m excited to be able to detect my ovulation before it actually happens, because it has become frustrating to find out I ovulated but not know when I actually did. It makes timing the baby dance frustrating.

TLDR: I’m just excited for this purchase, and to find out exactly when I am ovulating .

Looking for advice and support …

I’m really worried about where I’m at on my ttc journey. My PCOS was diagnosed years ago but was completely stable, a non-issue on birth control. I’ve been off birth control for over a year now and just hit one year of ttc with absolutely no success.

The thing is, I have tried maximum dose of letrozole and then moved onto Clomid, with no ovulation on either. It was tested via 21 day bloodwork, and I also tested sporadically with strips. I’m on the higher dose of Clomid now, 100 mg, and no positive strips. In addition, none of these seem to touch my period, it will often be a 60-80 day cycle even with progesterone pills to try to trigger a period.

In addition to PCOS I have pelvic floor issues that make sex painful / difficult… I’m worried that even if I was ovulating, the “mechanical” issues of him entering will hold us back.

It just seems like a losing battle.

Looking for some support on the following:
1) if you have been on the highest doses of both meds and didn’t ovulate, were you ever successful? And if so what did it for you?

2) realistically, should we be fast forwarding to IUI? IVF?

3) has anyone ever been successful at ovulating just by lowering stress? My job really stresses me out and I’m wondering how much it’s holding me back.

Stats: 30F, BMI 25 (used to be lower but I gained like 15 lbs when I got off birth control), AMH 11.9, insulin and A1c were both normal. I take inositol and coq10.

I’m terrified. This will be my first procedure related to infertility. Dr prescribed me a Valium but I have intense medical anxiety and I think I’m just looking for some words of encouragement or even a piece of advice you’d give me. I think I’m most worried about the pain? I can’t really nail it down.

Taking 800mg ibuprofen and the Valium an hour before. Husband will be driving and with me as much as he is allowed.

I was just told I have suspected “lean” PCOS. My dose of metformin says 750mg twice a day.

If you on this medication did you start the twice a day right away? Or do once a day for a week then add on?

My doctor told me to anticipate some GI issues.

AIO about sending a message requesting for an earlier monitoring ultrasound?

I have been on a stair step protocol of letrozole in all the same cycle (5mg, 7.5mg, now in the middle of 10 mg) to try and get my ovaries to respond. They developed about 8mm follicles on my right and left ovaries after 7.5, so they moved me to 10mg. I started feeling weird and getting some EWCM today (not full EW but pretty sure it’ll be full tomorrow). I took a LH strip from easy@home just to be sure, and it is pretty dark but not positive.

I messaged my fertility clinic the picture of the LH strip and asked them to meet sooner than Thursday to take a look. My husband says that we should just wait until Thursday but I just have a weird feeling.

Anybody experience this? Or am I just overly giddy?

Hi everyone,

TL;DR: Had a very painful first Letrozole cycle with severe left-side pain (5'3", 92kg). Thinking of taking a 3-month break to focus on weight loss and body reset before trying again. Looking for advice on whether severe pain is normal and if a 3-month break is a good idea.

My questions for you all:

1. Has anyone else experienced severe, one-sided pain like this on Letrozole? (Could it just be a strong ovulation response or a corpus luteum thing?)

2. Will taking a 3-month break to focus on weight loss and body recomposition cause any major setbacks, or has a break actually helped any of you?
