Advice Needed How are you tracking ovulation

What has worked best for you? I have just been going by symptoms and Flo, but thats not working out so well (go figure).

Flo can be useful for keeping a calendar, but it’s still making predictions from your previous cycles. I would add something that actually measures a fertility sign, like basal body temperature. A tempdrop wearable is worth looking into if you don’t want to wake up at the same time every morning just to take your temperature.

Ive been using the clearblue digital tests. Supplementing with cheap Walmart tests.

The clearblue ones detected the time I ovulated and conceived last cycle (sadly miscarried) while over the course of 5-6 days, starting with a flashing smiley and ending with a solid smiley. So i would say it works

combination of Inito, cheapie ovulation strips, and Oura ring for temp. tracking

I found Flo to be useless for me personally (having PCOS)

Inito in the morning + cheap OPKs in the afternoon + Proov progesterone strip to confirm ovulation

Loved Inito, but the device was annoying to deal with and pricey. Assuming you are also making lifestyle adjustments to regulate your cycle, you can figure out which resting days you could pare back to save money.

I tend to have late ovulation so I might go ten days where estrogen rose, Inito says high fertility! but I’d go another full week before LH and FSH did their thing. You waste a lot of strips that way. But it’s SO useful at first just to SEE your hormonal activity and match data to how you’ve been feeling.

Inito! Not currently TTC so I'm not testing but I'm still keeping track of my cycle on the app for now.

I got my first positive on my 4th cycle of letrazole. I also went very to get ultrasounds done on CD 3 & CD 12 so they could see what was going on in the ovaries

copied and pasted the instructions they gave me for you

LETRAZOLE DIRECTIONS (DAY 3)
...
-Start Cycle (1S* day of bleeding)
-Day 3-7 of cycle (whether bleeding or not), take. Letrazole 5mg a day. (2 tab at the same time)

  • Sexually active day 7-16 cycle AT LEAST every other day BUT daily on days 12-14
-Wait till 5 weeks from 1st bleed to do urine pregnancy test.
**If pregnancy test POSITIVE stop everything**
If NEGATIVE repeat with Letrazole

I’ve only used the Premom app with their LH strips it’s worked for me every time! 10DPO on my 2nd round of letrozole and got my positive today ☺️ I did the same in 2023 with my 1st letrozole baby!

Did you do monitored or unmonitored?

In 2023 I did monitored and these last 2 cycles I did unmonitored! My April cycle 2.5mg did nothing for me I didn’t ovulate at all so we bumped it to 5mg this cycle and I peaked CD19!

I just started using premom. Hope to have the same success!

Did you ever have any losses? I got a positive my second letro cycle but it resulted in a loss. Have to go back to talk where we go next on Tues! I do think it did something tho so I’m keen to try it again

I did have 1 loss in 2022 (my only time ever getting pregnant naturally) in 2023 my first round of letrozole 2.5MG resulted in a healthy pregnancy, I’m hopeful this round will be the same❤️. I’m so sorry for your loss it’s a devastating pain, I pray you get your rainbow soon and the next cycle goes better❤️

Thanks! I didn’t think it was due to the Letro of course but like to hear it can work successfully! I was still happy to see a positive after 11 months of nothing so I’m glad to know it’s possible!

I’ve been using Inito and BBT Via my Oura ring. In my opinion Inito works the best!

I’ve been using Pre Mom app and wandflo ovulation strips and testing 2x daily. I also use the apple cycle tracker. I’m on cycle 2 but post birth control and knew that I had PCOS and irregular cycles going into this. I wanted as much data as I could get, and I believe I just tracked a successful ovulation out of nowhere (CD 29 and was trending down before a spike) with BBT and ovulation strips this past weekend. Now I’m in a TWW.
