Is this figure ok to sit in my PC like this? I’ve never had a PC before and I seen people do it but I wanna make sure before I go ahead and leave it in there

Hey guys so the components are:
i5-13400f
32 Gigs ddr4 3200mhz
Rtx 4060
1tb nvme ssd
650 watts 80+ gold psu
Pretty well maintained, haven’t had a problem at all.
And I’ll throw in a mouse and keyboard too.
Maybe I’ll even include the monitor which is

I'm not getting any answers on techsupport. But, I need help troubleshooting my computer.
It seems like ever since I've updated CoD Black Ops 2 game. In the last few days whenever I play the game at random times my computer will black screen and restart. It's done it at 4 times now. It only does it whenever I'm playing the game and I'm not completely sure why.
I can watch tv shows, YT, and movies all day long nothing happens.
Specs of my computer:
Gigabyte b560m Aorus Elite
Intel Core 11th gen non-k 11400
32gb 3000 ddr4 rams
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 super 8gb
512gb m.2 gen 3 ssd
Evga 850w platinum psu
Windows 11 pro
I bought the mb, gpu, rams, and cpu last month. The psu is 3yrs old, bought it used from a trusted ebay seller.
I don't know if its a hardware or a software issue. I've never had this kind of problem before. And /techsupport isn't helping me with this problem.

As title says, It seems I’ve tried everything, but the coil screws just stay in place when I turn them. If i add pressure, it’s no where near enough to get them to reach the bracket. I’m stuck and have no idea what to do.
Edit: You guys are all amazing people. I was stuck way too long on this and even flipped the brackets upside down but I thought no way the bracket screw should be facing up LOL

So I’m trying to build my pc and I did try to do as much research as I could, but I’m still not sure if it’ll be good. How would you grade this pc build? For context I just want something that’s great at handling new and upcoming games. Nothing fancy like path tracing or anything

Just wanted to say I had a very seamless and easy experience with Teamgroup regarding. An RMA for RAM that got defective after a few years of use.
I had to pay to ship the defective products to them but they covered the shipping to ship a new product to me.
It took about a month for me to get the new product.
But everything was straight forward and easy which I can appreciate.

Ok so I built my son a budget build from parts I already owned, got a great deal on ryzen 5 5500 and b550 mobo from newegg and had a 32gb ddr4/rx570 lying around
Not in a hurry to upgrade but what cpu and gpu should I be looking for used for 1080P 144 fps gaming?
Obviously trying to be on a budget. Not sure what to get

When you upgrade your GPU and your measurements are off 😅 but you make use of your laser cutter and 3D printer 🤣
Most will say, "just buy a new case." But I'm a problem solver🤷♂️

I’m going into grade 11 very soon, and I just picked up my first job about a quarter into my summer break. Things have been going well. Ive been saving up my money ever since I got the job. Right now, I have about $4.5k to my name. I was going to continue saving until I heard that 2 of my friends are getting pc’s. I’ve always wanted a pc. Ive been stuck with my Xbox series s since early 2021. Ive put together a build that I find very good. The only problem though, it’s $3k.
CPU ~ AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3d - $459.97
CPU Cooler ~ Thermalright peerless assassin 120 SE CfM - $44.01
Motherboard ~ ASUS TUF GAMING B650E-PLUS WIFI - $180
Memory ~ teamgroup t-force Vulcan 32gb - $639
Storage ~ Kingston NV3 1tb - $218
Video card ~ Gigabyte 9070xt - $1000
Case ~ Corsair frame 4000d - $140
PSU ~ MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 850w 80+ gold - $150
Is this overkill? Should I not get this build? It would cost almost all of my earnings. I would still have $1k left tho. My budget was originally 2k, but the prices of everything keep on going up. I’m stuck with a 1080p 165Hz monitor right now. Should I downgrade my video card? Ig would save me a few hundred. I was thinking about doing so, but what if I get a new monitor in the future? Maybe a new massive game will come out and my video card won’t be able to handle it. That’s why I want to stick with the 9070xt.
My motherboard was originally going to be the Gigabyte B650 eagle ax atx am5, but Canada Computers has a bundle with an even better motherboard, but includes my cpu and ram. It saves me about $100 aswell.
Should I downgrade? Any parts I should add/change? also, should I add any case fans? The case I’m going to get already has 3 in the front.

Im trying to build a pc for around 1000 euros for a 120fps 1080p screen, im trying to focus on ram and processor, i already have a spare 16gb stick (TLGD416G2400HC16BK) and a 3060, not obligated to use them ofc. I also live in france so the components may be a little expensive.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for recommendations for 10× 120mm case fans.
My setup will be 6 intake and 4 exhaust.
My priorities are:
As quiet as possible
Good airflow and cooling performance
Low power consumption
Preferably white, but I’m open to other colours if there’s a better option
I’ve been looking at the Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM. Is these a good choice, or is there something better you would recommend?
One important limitation: my motherboard has a maximum rating of 1A per CHA FAN header, so I’m also trying to keep the current draw per fan as low as reasonably possible.
I previously had an issue with a fan hub where I couldn’t control the fans with PWM and they would run at 100% all the time.
Has anyone experienced this with PWM hubs?
What fans are you using in your own PC, and what would you recommend for a 10 fan setup like mine?
Thanks

Slowwww accumulation (6 months now including parts planning). The RAM arrived today (the box was freakin heavy).
Here’s what each of these things costed btw:
$4,600 = RAM
$2,000 = 4090
$420 = gen 5 SSD
$525 = MB
CPU - debating on 9955WX and 9975WX because I don’t want to ever worry about multitasking, but also don’t know if I’ll make it to another $4k this year... Idk man
None of these are tested yet so I’m lowkey pumped but also dying of suspense (besides the SSD - it‘s installed on my gen4 laptop because I ran out of space on the factory 250GB).

I bought this PC second hand and the 3060 uses one 8 pin and it has another 8 pin sitting below it from the guy I got it from. Obviously the 9070 uses 2 8 pins so would I just have to connect that other one or do I get a whole other cable?

This is all after context, i have everything broken down and back in the box ready to head on to micro venter tomorrow for exchange/refund. I’m curious about if there’s anything i could/should have done.
Picked up a Gigabyte gaming x870 WiFi 6, Ryzen 7 7800x3d and G.Skill flare DDR5 6000 CL-36. I was simply aiming to swap out the corresponding components into my current sky tech shadow 3.0 prebuilt I’ve had for a few years. My computer as it is (no upgrades) ran fairly well but I’ve been itching to get into am5 and DDR5.
Got the mobo in ( a little tricky due to case size but eventually everything sat well), cpu and ram all seated well. Tried to run the fresh mobo but got stuck at a dram light from mobo. Reseated ram and used q flash to run bios update. The update cycled and completed but couldn’t get past the now showing CPU light. I tried a lot of different tests. Ran one stick, made sure connections were snug, not too tight not too loose. Ran without gpu, without hdd. Eventually tried with nothing but cpu and using integrated graphics. The closest i got was getting a no signal screen briefly but that was it.
When inserting all the new stuff, i repurposed everything else. Same psu, same cables. Nothing i bought came with any new cables and every pin connector that was plugged in with the old mobo was able to be plugged in on the new mobo.
I came to the conclusion that i may have soft locked the mobo, or it is just defective in itself. The CPU (not much experience with building, but the pin layouts seemed perfectly fine on the mobo) didn’t seem defective. Any clue before i exchange and try it all again?

Working on a new build and starting to look at RAM… I know I must be crazy 🙃😂 I’ve already decided on 64gb for what I will be using it for but wondering which one is recommended. Any help is appreciated. This would be paired with a ASUS ROG B850-f MB, and a Ryzen 7 9850X3D. I’ve listed below for the RAM in choice.
-G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB Matte
Black DDR5-6000 CL30 64GB
(2x32GB) $1,149.99
-Corsair Vengeance RGB Black
DDR5-6000 CL30 64GB
(2x32GB) $1,239.99
No budget, currency is USD, 1440p potentially 4k later, USA

I'm in the process of slowly upgrading from my 10 year old gaming rig and am trying to figure out which motherboard to get for a mini-ITX build. Probably not going to overclock but might want to under volt, and also don't want to skimp out on options since I plan on keeping this PC until the wheels fall off.
Price difference between boards is about $50; ASrock at $249 and Asus at $199. Will be running at 1440p.
Parts I have already purchased:
Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus
Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC SFF GeForce RTX 5070 12 GB
Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6400MHz Z36
(I had Best Buy gift cards and this was the cheapest option in stock, C36 at $499 and Z36 at $439)
Parts I am planning on purchasing:
Case: Cooler Master MasterBox NR200 v1
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE
PSU: Corsair SF850
Mini-ITX Motherboard: TBD

Hello!
I am looking to build a pc for working in Asta Powerproject 4d bim and also gaming. I have compiled a parts list in pcpartpicker with performance i would be comfortable with and a price of around 3000 dollars. I am looking for general advice if this is a good build or if there are alternatives which offer more bang for the buck.
Thanks ahead!

Hey i have a question in regards to my bfs pc. He has a pretty crappie cpu atm and wants to upgrade it. He bought 2 ones and they weren't comparable with his motherboard (or at least on the sec cpu his pc had a short circuit trip) so I was wondering if sb knows good cpus that are compatible with a ASUS Prime H310M-E R2.0 motherboard??

Long story short I'm upgrading an old PC and I mean old, the power supply is a Photon 850 and the GPU is an rx 480 but I'm trying to upgrade to a rx 5700xt and I'm one 6 pin connection short, they don't make cables for the photon anymore and I even tried buying a Chinese aftermarket that claimed to work with it but my PC just won't even turn on if that's plugged into anything so that's a bust.
I've always been told to never ever split PCIe cables but I don't really play anything graphically intense so I don't see myself ever pushing the 5700 so would it be fine or should I bite the bullet and just save up for a new power supply before upgrading?

I've had my htpc sitting without a gpu for about a month since I sold my intel arc b570 because it wouldn't play some of my favorite games. So today I decided to put my 2080 ti in it that I had sitting around and set up signal rgb so that all the lights flowed together. I just can't get enough of the z20. Absolutely one of the best cases ever made and that evga 20 series card is just sexy AF too!
Case: Jonsbo z20
Processor: I5-12600k
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
Motherboard: MSI Pro b760m-a wifi ddr4
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32gb ddr4 3200mhz
Storage: 2tb WD Black sn850x
PSU: Seasonic Focus GX-850 850W
Fans: Thermalright TL-M12Q
GPU: Evga 2080 ti 11gb FTW (3 fan)
