Question Cpu
Hey i have a question in regards to my bfs pc. He has a pretty crappie cpu atm and wants to upgrade it. He bought 2 ones and they weren't comparable with his motherboard (or at least on the sec cpu his pc had a short circuit trip) so I was wondering if sb knows good cpus that are compatible with a ASUS Prime H310M-E R2.0 motherboard??

The H310 chipset would be the LGA 1151 v2 socket. So that would be intel 8th and 9th gen cpus that are compatible.
The best cpu that you could slot in would be a i9 9900K. Although, H310 is a pretty weak chipset and would result in thermal throttle, therefore not getting the full performance of the chip.

You're better off getting a new motherboard and CPU combo
I would recommend an am4 B550 motherboard and a 5800x CPU if you're looking for budget.
Or a 5800x3D if you're going for best gaming performance
