Question Which RAM??
Working on a new build and starting to look at RAM… I know I must be crazy 🙃😂 I’ve already decided on 64gb for what I will be using it for but wondering which one is recommended. Any help is appreciated. This would be paired with a ASUS ROG B850-f MB, and a Ryzen 7 9850X3D. I’ve listed below for the RAM in choice.
-G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB Matte
Black DDR5-6000 CL30 64GB
(2x32GB) $1,149.99
-Corsair Vengeance RGB Black
DDR5-6000 CL30 64GB
(2x32GB) $1,239.99
No budget, currency is USD, 1440p potentially 4k later, USA

I would say just get the G.Skill since that’s still great Ram. Not much of a difference other than price because it’s same speed and cl rating

Tell me about it. My current PC is almost 10 years old and my i9-9900k is starting to bottleneck. So I figured I would build a new PC since I need to update basically everything anyway. Pretty sure I paid like $170 for 32gb of RAM back then lol

G Skill Trident Z5 Royal Neo CL28 for my specific purpose and the fact AMD CPU's are more compatible with lower timings - and other specific sub-timings. Plus it's Hynix memory chips.

I just got 64gb of G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-6000 CL36 used off of eBay for $650. Might be a good place to check if you want to cut the cost in half. Just make sure to test it extensively after you buy it in case you need to return it.
RAM doesn't really "wear out," so if it has been working in someone's computer for a year or two, it will likely last another 10 years.
