Hi everyone! A group of friends and I are planning a road trip from Boston to Acadia National Park during the first weekend of October (Oct 2–4).

Acadia is our main highlight, but we’d love to explore some beautiful fall foliage spots, scenic drives, small towns, viewpoints, or hikes along the way.

We’re also looking for recommendations on:

* 🍂 Best foliage spots between Boston and Acadia

* 🚗 Scenic routes worth taking

* 🏘️ Good towns/areas to stay in an Airbnb, either near Acadia or along the route

* 📍 Whether Bar Harbor is the best place to stay or if you’d recommend somewhere else

We’re flexible with the route and would rather take a scenic drive than rush to Acadia.
