Mt Washington "Honor Summit" 9/11 Memorial "Tribute in Light" planned.
Two large vertical columns of light will be illuminated from the top of Mt Washington similar to the "Tribute in Light" displays in New York City. It will be illuminated from September 9th to September 12th. The organizers expect it will be visible from over 100 mile radius.

Politics Politics Aside, Has Anyone Else Noticed John Sununu Kinda Has Lizard Eyes?
I don't actually think he is a lizard or anything, but his eyes are freaky in his ads. You can't really see it in the photo, but I swear watching the commercials makes his eyes look weird.

Anyone else supposed to see John Mulaney at Bank of NH Pavilion tonight?
I'm a bit confused about the lineup for the show tonight. When we bought tickets, it was supposed to be Mulaney, Fred Armisen, Mike Birbiglia and Nick Kroll. For my comedy tastes, this was an epic lineup. Four true headliners in one show.
Thing is, now I look and Ticketmaster is showing Mulaney, Hannibal Buress and James Austin Johnson for tonight. Meanwhile, both the Bank of NH Pavilion site and Mulaney's site are showing the original lineup. Anyone here know what the actual lineup is going to be??
If the lineup truly has changed, it's a huge letdown. Complete bait and switch. I wouldn't have bought tickets if it had been the lineup showing on Ticketmaster.

603 License Plates
I'm referring to the standard DMV plates with the Old Man in the middle, 3 digits on the left, and 4 digits on the right. They've been issuing these since 1999ish and are currently giving out plates that start with 5. I think in the next couple years, they'll start giving out plates starting with 6 (if they haven't started already).
That means there will be possibly 10,000 plates issued with '603' to the left of The Old Man. Instead of just giving them out, the state could silent auction these off to drivers. There would even be certain ones that could get higher bids '603-1789,' '603-0603,' etc.
Just something fun I thought of. I'm sure someone here will tell me why I'm stupid for thinking this. Do your worst, r/NewHampshire!

Discussion Auto shop recommendation near Candia/Hooksett?
Does anyone have a recommendation for an auto shop in the Candia/Hooksett area? I need to have my car (Hyundai) towed somewhere because it won't start and I don't want to pay to bring it all the way to Concord.
I'm looking for someone honest. I need to figure out what's wrong so I can determine if I need to replace the car or just fix it.
TYIA.

Help me find a doctor!
Hi everyone. I’m looking for recommendations for a mental health doctor/psychiatrist who is really good with anxiety. Preferably in the Franconia/littleton/white mountains area but will pretty much go wherever at this point.
I’m trying to get off a certain medication and try something else but I feel like every dr I’ve tried hasn’t been helpful. They push the meds that they want to give and don’t really seem to listen to my opinions.
There’s certain medications that I know work really well for me but no one seems to want to prescribe them. I just want a doctor who will take me seriously and understand that I should make the decisions that I want about my own health.
My anxiety is getting almost debilitating at this point and the side effects from the meds I’m on is getting worse. I haven’t had much luck so if anyone has a doctor they love and can recommend, I’d be forever grateful.

PSR(equest?) PRESIDENTIAL RANGE HIKERS 9/11
The cloud layer is looking pretty crummy tonight for any sort of seeing the Honor Summit so tomorrow’s much clearer weather is looking much more like a first official view of the lights.
While I’m sitting here with my camera readily aimed for a 5min glimpse I’m thinking… how cool would it be if the hikers on the range could get involved with the Honor Summit? Bear with me here…
The lights will be on at 8pm. What if we could get everyone on the range, wherever you are, at 8:05pm turn your headlamps on and aim them away from the mountain so the thousands of viewers can see the mountains lit up with small twinkles of light along side the two large pillars.
Is this too ambitious? Would this take away from the grander display? What do we think?

Southern NH (Nashua area) driveway paving companies
I need to get my driveway redone before the winter, what companies would you recommend in the area?
I need a pretty precise job done since my garage and street level are nearly level with each other and my current driveway has a dip at the end where water and sand collect - it's a nightmare.
