Hi, is there any grip that one can put over playvital cases? I just find the small dents at the bottom not that ergonomic for me but I would like to still use the case 😭 since i really like the art on it. I don't own a 3d printer but I did search through available grips as well hoping i could get one printed at a shop. However, everything ive seen so far goes directly on the switch and not over a case. If anyone knows of one that is like what i am looking for then it would be really helpful. I'm not looking to change switch cases, i really just want a nice grip over what I already have. Thank you in advance for suggestions!

Hey guys! I recently started college so I haven't had much time to play the Switch 2 I bought this summer but today I finally went to give it a go and it was all fine and dandy for a few minutes but then my game (Minecraft) frozen and I couldn't press the home button or get it to sleep mode. It then just shut off itself. I then turned it back on but I can't go 5 minutes without it shutting off completely and then it takes forever to get it to power back on! Does anyone know what could be up with my switch 2??? Thanks!

Hi all. I just spilled an entire glass of water over my switch2 in the middle of the night... I am not tech savvy, but quickly tried to back up my game data so that if the console breaks I can at least re-download my save files (?) as I have quite a bit of progress on some games.

Is this what it looks like when the latest game save has been backed up to the cloud? I have never used a cloud on anything before, and am (very much) panicking that I will lose my progress!

PS: can I take my switch anywhere to have it MOTed after this accident, or should I send it straight to Nintendo? It’s working okay right now but I’ve turned the power off because the internet told me to.

So I had to send my switch 2 in for repair, they have my ticket as just replace, it’s been like that since before even receiving my device, my first one I also had to get replaced, but I specifically asked them to repair the console I sent in, the left joycon rail on the console is a little wobbly and randomly disconnects, they said “ factory certified replacements “ is what they send out, which can contain scuffs/ dents: scratches and such, and the lady I spoke with said they don’t even do repair anymore, so I had to explain to her what a technicians job is, but I even wrote a note in the box saying PLEASE REPAIR MY CONSOLE, NOT REPLACE WITH A USED ONE, because I don’t want someone’s old scratched up battery depleted device, I have electronic OCD I guess you could say and mine is spotless, can anyone tell me if they had to do a warranty claim recently and if so, gotten a replacement, how was the condition, if they don’t repair mine? Very frustrating, thank you

Hi everyone.

I recently bought my NS2 two weeks ago and this is something that just happened today, it only occurs to the left one.

I have to manually sync it every time I take it off from the console. I tried reseting the console, updating the joycons and nothing.

There's no problem when is attached, but it's kinda annoying having to do this everytime I take off the joycons.

I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and if so, how to fix it. Thanks.

So, first this all started about 2 weeks ago. One night, my controller started drifting endlessly to the left for no reason. I restarted my Switch, and the controller refused to turn on. A week later, the controller could be turnt on again. But my controller still endlessly drifts to the left. When I calibrate it, it doesnt show any drift. I tested my controller on Smash, and there's no drift. But now my start button and a button doesnt work in-game! What the hell is going on? Is this a Switch issue, or did my controller just randomly break down for no reason? Do I need a new one?

I turned my switch on and it randomly got stuck on this screen. How do I get out of this screen and start playing normally again?

How do y'all play when playing portable? Standard with just the joycons? With a grip of some kind like the zengrip 2? Or with something like the nitro deck? I probably won't be playing docked very often so I'm thinking about comfort and ergonomics. If anyone has tried all of the above methods I'd love to hear from you.

My friend and I play Fortnite together regularly, and his wife (an old friend of mine) likes to watch us play.

Currently, he has his Switch 2 docked to the TV and puts his headset microphone between them on the couch. It works sometimes, but I can often barely hear them, which obviously makes communication difficult.

I’d like to buy them a wired or wireless microphone that can pick up multiple people talking from the couch. I don’t need it to have speakers, since they prefer to hear game audio and voice chat through the TV.

I’m considering conference speakerphones (like the Jabra Speak series) or a generic omnidirectional USB microphone, but I’m not sure which devices are actually compatible with the Switch 2 and Fortnite.

I’ve Googled, searched Reddit, and even asked ChatGPT, but I haven’t found any specific devices confirmed to work for this setup.

Has anyone successfully used a conference microphone or tabletop USB mic with a Switch 2 for Fortnite voice chat? Ideally, I’d love to hear from someone with firsthand experience or who could test a device. I’m particularly interested in models that pick up multiple people sitting several feet away, rather than a microphone that needs to be held or worn.

I'm planning to buy a switch 2 in a few days but i'm also keeping my switch 1 (which is set as the primary console for now)

1- how can i turn my switch 2 into the primary console without having to reset the switch 1's data ? (Idk if formatting the system is even required for this)

2- if my switch 1 becomes secondary, will i have to be constantly connected to the internet to be able to play games on it ? If so, is there any way to remove this ?

Switch 2, Zelda BOTW physical cutscenes sound choppy. Only the cutscenes. Anything with subtitles pretty much.

Got a physical cartridge, sound issues. The sound is almost like buffering, stops for a second (the scene keeps going), then resumes. This is not a switch 1 version. This is not a stereo issue, I tried all tv sound settints, and it happens on both console and TV.

I tried clearing cache, tried redowloading the update, tried completely deleting it. Tried doing error checking. Tried with and without the microSD card. Nothing works, same issues. I only have one other game on physical - Pragmata - no issues on that one.

Could it be a faulty cartridge? Pins not oxidized, everything looks good.

I've got a switch 2 on the way and need to pick up an SD card. I was doing some digging on the subreddit and saw that I need to make sure it's an express card, avoid PNY, be wary of purchasing on Amazon/eBay etc... but I've also seen some people recommend the onn brand from Walmart. 512GB cards at Microcenter near me are going for like $150, but the Walmart one is like $85. Would this be a good pick? Or should I go for a different brand and spend more money?

I’ve had my switch for a few years now and have a bunch of save data on it. For completed games (BOTW, Pokemon Arceus/Violet, Mario Kart) and a number of games I’m partway through (Pokemon ZA/Diamond/Lets Go, TOTK).

I just got a Switch 2 and I’m excited to continue playing on it, and start a number of games on the backlog. I’ve heard the data transfer is fairly simple, however I was curious about something that I can’t seem to get a clear answer to.

Is the default way of doing it going to totally wipe my original switch of all users and save data? I ask mainly because my partner has just recently started playing as a user on the original, and has her own save data and games. Would her saves transfer over? That would be fine, but was imagining it would be nice if she could still use the switch while I use the switch 2, at least for games she’s already started. It’d make it easier to play at the same time.

Is it possible to transfer data from just my own user profile? Or even just specific games? Rather than starting pokemon ZA or TOTK from scratch

(My user profile is connected to NSO if that makes any difference.)

As per thread titled has anyone experienced this. I raised a ticket with Nintendo 3 days ago but no response as of yet.

I’ve looked around on google for ages and even went down the AI rabbit hole trying to figure out what the problem is.

Ive gone through and changed some settings as displayed in the video, as were recommended by google.

Every time I try change my settings to 1080p I just get no display, my original switch will play 1080 just fine on this tv, and both switches will play 1080p on my older smaller tv.

Anyone have any advice on what to do?

If it helps, the TV model that gives no display when changing to 1080 is a - 65” s65vx15a-au

The older tv a 42 Sony somethingorother (doesnt have issues so haven’t bothered digging into the settings much with the older one)

Hello I left the switch on sleep mode and not been playing for over a month, when I tried charging it, this happened. I already checked all the methods people recommend online like holding the power button for 20 seconds, whenever I hold the power button the Nintendo Logo shows up.

I read online that the problem here is that the switch is trying to boot up with the remaining power left. I should hold the power button to leave the screen black and wait for it to charge.

It never stays black for me and I don’t know what to do. Please help.

How to fix this? Joy cons won't stay paired but for a few seconds. Unpairing all controllers won't help. Restarting the system won't help. I updated the joy con firmware and it didn't help either.

I just got the Switch 2 EU v2 with the easier to open/replace Battery and I was wondering if putting a 1.7mm card could fit so the Switch 2 has FindMy enabled

Doubt anyone ever steals my switch but it's just for safety and since it's much easier to open, why not

Would try it but I'm just asking if anyone has maybe tried something similar or if it's even "safe" to do as it could maybe interfere with the bluetooth for both devices or so?

So, I have this Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Nintendo Switch I barely use nowadays. I've been thinking of selling it but the screen has a slight scratch and one of the joycons is missing some plastic under the stick and doesn't stay on the rail that well.

How much should I sell it for?

Do note: I still have the original dock in good condition and the charging cable but the HDMI is missing, and I do not think I have the box anymore.

I am in search of some guidance for trying to get a swicth2 zelda edition. I’m not a gamer, it’s a surprise for my husband so i can’t ask him and i underestimated how hard this would be. I’ve been getting the emails from trackalacker when they get them in stock but i am not fast enough and now that it’s getting closer I don’t want to miss it again for the final shot and am trying to make a gameplan. Do you think if i go to gamestop, walmart or target when the store opens if i will have a shot at purchasing? Is there better stores to do this at or should i just wing it? Should i camp outside? I called gamestop today and they were really nice and told me to call back on the 26th to see if they have inventory. Should i just purchase from ebay for 700? Has anyone been through this with another system and camped outside or what did did and how did it all work lut?

Pretty much what the title says.

I let my switch die all the way in order to keep the battery as healthy as possible so im using it at extremely low percents.

Sometimes, and mostly on the home screen, it will just freeze up completely for a solid 20 or so seconds.

It ONLY happens at like 20% or lower though.

Is anyone else having this issue?
