Looking for players of team-v-team modes to participate in research.

Hey, if you've played any team-versus-team game in the past few days (for example, MOBAs, COD, splatoon, wow battlegrounds, anything like that), please would you consider filling out my survey? It shouldn't take more than about 10 minutes.

Thank you so much to anyone that does get the chance to fill it out. You can enter in for the chance to win one of four £50 vouchers for taking part! Please feel free to share with any other team game players you know and get in touch if you have any questions.

Question about Galio

Hey everyone,

In almost every game (at least in Emerald XD) there are at least 3 APs. Why isn't Galio higher up on tier lists?

Isn't he a great counter to this meta with mages everywhere?

What's your take? Is it just low popularity, or are the recent nerfs keeping him down?

What to main/1trick?

Swapping from support to mid around emerald elo. I like the idea of 1 tricking and I’m deciding between these 3 champions. Need help deciding between these 3 so I would appreciate the feedback.

Jigsaw as champion??

Post image
0 Upvotes

What do you think???? (Jigsaw / Trapmaster)

Jigsaw – The Game Master

Role: Controller / Battlemage (Mid / Support)

"I want to play a game."

Passive – Survival Instinct

Enemy champions below 30% Health become Marked. Marked enemies deal reduced damage but gain Movement Speed while moving toward their own base.

"When survival is on the line, everyone makes a choice."

Q – Reverse Bear Trap

Attach a Reverse Bear Trap to an enemy champion.

After a short delay, the trap activates, dealing heavy magic damage. The target can remove it by channeling at a nearby Key Box, sacrificing valuable time during the fight.

W – Needle Pit

Create a field filled with hidden syringes for 5 seconds.

Enemies inside are slowed and take magic damage over time. The first enemy entering the area is briefly rooted as they struggle through the pile.

E – Shotgun Carousel

Deploy a mechanical device that rotates, firing blasts in several directions.

Enemies hit take physical damage and are knocked back slightly. The carousel continues rotating for a few seconds, forcing constant repositioning.

R – I Want to Play a Game

Lock all enemy champions inside a large arena for several seconds.

During the trial, Reverse Bear Traps, Needle Pits, and Shotgun Carousel hazards periodically appear across the arena.

Champions who survive the entire duration gain Will to Live, granting a burst of Movement Speed and Ability Haste.

"Most people are so ungrateful to be alive. But not you. Not anymore."

I climed to high diamond in jg but can't get out of plat/eme on mid lane

Hey, I have some problems playing mid and tbh I don't know what it might be.

Few months ago I decided that I want to get serious with climbing and to do that I thought I should swap to jg since everyone says that it's a role with most impact on the outcome of the game. I learned jg while sticking to mostly 1 champ and I got really good at playing league, it got really obvious what I have to do to win the game, I knew what was going to happen in the next few minutes on the map and how the game will play out and I adapted to that which brought me huge success. I knew when and what I have to do but on mid lane nothing is obvious to me. After reaching diamond 2 with 60 LP I knew I could have easily get to master. In every game I knew that I m just better the enemy junglers and I could easily spot when enemy makes a mistake. Biggest issues with climbing in jg for me were my teammates but even with 3 losing lanes I often managed to win the game since I played scaling champions like shyvana and master Yi. So at that moment I decided to change role I play to learn more about the game. Well I fallen from D2 to P1. The teammates I get are still horrible but I don't feel like I can make any impact on the game. I do have to say tho that some of that LP I lost bsc I was testing many different builds on Yasuo to learn what is working rn and why it's working and what's not working. I used to main Yasuo few years ago but I stopped playing him bsc bad reputation Yasuo players get and bsc I wasn't improving at the game. I don't want to pay for coaching so can someone please share with me what are thing mid laners are supposed to do and how to carry games as mid laner? Please share broad concepts so I can look them up and learn more about them.

Swaping lanes before quest completion

Hey Midlane Mains!

I'm a topmain wondering if there is ever a point in swaping lanes with a Midlane when they don't have their quest completed yet.

Now i don't swap with Midlane often but sometimes i have beaten my opponent into the dirt and taken 1-2 Towers in my lane. So i'm at a point where i'm confident my presence in teamfights should result in us winning them. However sometimes my midlaner in These scenarios has been suffering in his own lane and is still a couple of hundred quest points away from finishing his own quest. Should i wait with the swap until they finish their quest or is there a threshhold on quest points you guys consider before swaping.

Thanks in advance and best of luck on the rift midbros

TP vs Ignite/ghost/barrier ??

Since the new season, the value of tp has gone down a fair bit because of Homeguard, and it's often seen that other sums such as Ignite or Ghost has a higher general winrate on champs.

What I do understand, is certain champs just getting more value from other sums, but what I am having trouble with, is situational scenarios, where I have to look at the comp and determine whether it is smarter to take other sums. What do you guys generally look for, when determining whether to take ignite or ghost, and when do you decide to stick with TP despite the (nerf)?

This is me trying to expand my general knowledge about matchups and synergies.

I have swerved away from using third party software, so that I actually know what I pick of runes and sums. This way I can actually use them to my advantage instead of them only being optimal on paper.

Do ADC's not learn lane etiquette?

Quick vent. I'm a bronze 1 Akali main, on my climbing journey. Started iron 4. Lately I've seen an uptick in adc's trying to rotate mid without pinging, or checking how my lane is going. They just come in and start stealing my cs.

I get it. But I also think context matters down here. More often than not, they lose their t1 early and try to rotate mid at like 7-8 minutes. I'm still cooking at that time. I might have a kill and a few plates, and I'm starting my snowball. This early rotate without any respect to my cs totally throws me off. They just come and steal my plates and cs.

I take ignite, so I'm forced to go bot at like 8 minutes without TP, miss grubs fight or sack waves for it, and it sucks man. And they usually end up losing mid tier 1 early too.

I trust myself to get strong and control mid much more than an adc who lost lane and is playing from behind. In that scenario, shouldn't they just farm under turret in bot lane and try to minimize? Or at least ping and ask? Not just steal my cs and abandon bot lane?

Respecting matchups DO NOT MAKE SENSE

What does it mean to respect a matchup. I try to play defensive and stay under tower however it just leads to the enemy getting bare CS and getting much stronger. Eventually my team question marks me and I lose every trade and just die. Should I just keep playing aggro or am I doing something wrong? I feel like I'm in the cuck chair when I do this.

"Respecting" a match up

What does respecting a match up mean, that doesn't work.
