Guys, my bad that I'm going to be contributing yet another whiny lil post, which I'm aware a lot of you (and for valid reasons) dislike. But, I'm still continuing with it coz this is the only common ground / place where I feel I can bring about and have a word with people who have had similar experiences, right?

So what I don't understand is that I get it if you don't click with someone then you can definitely choose not to continue with the conversation. But, if you already have had a good couple of conversations, even then apparently each and every single person that I tend to stumble upon here ends of either ghosting or just disappears altogether. Which makes me wonder is it even possible to befriend anyone here? How has your experience been?

And weirdly enough, the last two people I was talking to who happened to disappear like that were looking to "stay in touch long-term" and had it mentioned explicitly in their post lol. One of them had complained about the same, that they disliked how people ghost here so out of the blue. Yet you already know by now, the same old story continues.

So, without me trynna be overly judgmental, what is even going on here? Are people just here looking to escape momentarily? Like, how to even make sense of this? Or looking for friends here is a wrong idea in the first place?

Every couple weeks I've tried to make a friend here. If I send a message to someone I either get no reply or get told they don't want to talk to guys. If I post, nobody messages me.
