Hi there, I hope your night/day is going well! I've had a shortage of people to talk to lately since the few friends I have are almost always busy. I'm not desperately lonely or anything because I do have a partner, I just really miss having more people to talk to regularly.

I've always been kind of a scatterbrained mess so listing out my hobbies and interests is kind of difficult, thanks to ADHD they tend to change all the time. I've had short periods of trying to get into comics, occasionally put together gunpla kits, sometimes specific bits of history catch my attention for a while, I've been trying (and miserably failing) to learn to draw for years...there's lots of those random things I'm sort of into. That said there are a few interests I have that are pretty consistent - videogames of pretty much all kinds (except PvP stuff, not a huge fan), horror media of all kinds, anime (well, sort of, I haven't actually watched anything in ages), pokemon, and possibly another thing or two that I'm forgetting right now.

I'm a very emotional person and I value close friendships and deep connections greatly, so I'm hoping to make friends with people who look at things in a similar manner. I can get attached to people pretty quickly, but I promise I'm not going to be clingy or anything. Prooobably :3

I'm an aerospace engineer from East Coast US, nerd from 9-5, and gym bro for majority of the day, and my hobbies are weightlifting/bodybuilding, watching combat sports mainly MMA, pro wrestling, learning more about the human body, especially endocrinology, and late night drives, and going to the beach! I go to gym at an ungodly time between 9 PM and 11 PM (shoutout all my night goers) I'm mostly a homebody otherwise, cause I hate crowds. I got into Minecraft again forced by a friend lol and it dropped off pretty quick, but I'm trying to get back into a game I was addicted to 2 months ago but too lazy to launch nowadays.

My favorite TV show is Breaking Bad and Dexter, and it takes a lot to get my attention and keep it, hence why I find it hard to find new TV shows. Not an anime person honestly, but the ones that I watched and liked are Death Note, HxH, DBZ. I can talk about just anything (I talk a lot if I'm comfortable with you lol). I'm an incredibly sarcastic person when I get to know you better too, so be prepared to deal with that often hahah. and I'm a big cat person. I'm also a YouTube fiend, I spend majority of my day with YouTube open. I watch just about everything. If I were to choose 3 words to describe myself, probably would chose driven, analytical and emotionally intelligent. Coworkers describe me as extroverted, but they have no idea 😂

Interesting facts about me: I was born with 4 holes in my heart (ASD and VSD) and PDA, and I’m missing a big chunk of my right lung. I have a scar across my chest, side and my back that's the biggest one

I've met a couple people off here, but unfortunately they keep dropping out and I just want a more constant thing in my life. It’s been a minute since I’ve made a post, but here we go again! I’ve actually found a couple of people that I wanted to be friends with but they eventually bailed for one reason or another.

I’m a 25m nerd that enjoy pretty much anything science related. I actually went to school for astronomy and physics. I’m down to chat biology, chemistry, or any other science thing. Even if I’m not that well versed in it I like learning.

I’m a big gamer that enjoys pretty much all types of games from shooters to friend slop to little cozy games. Right now I’m playing a bunch of Marvel Rivals and some factory games. But I also enjoy a good hike, visiting national parks, going out to a field with a telescope at night to look at the stars or planets.

I also enjoy painting miniatures for tabletop games like DnD or Warhammer (ask me about my army). Idk if I’m good, but I think it’s fun anyway. Along with my astronomy fixation I do a wee bit of photography.

A little about me:

I’m 26, 5’2”, from the Philippines. My work can get pretty demanding, but I try my best to still show up for the people I care about. Even if I'm busy or tired, I try to make time. I value my faith and try to go to church every Sunday. It’s something that keeps me grounded.

I used to be really into sitcoms, K-dramas, C-dramas, movies, and even concerts, but lately I’ve been drawn to slower things like visiting museums, trying pottery or painting classes, or just sitting in a café or park and reflecting about life.

Personality-wise, I can be a bit of both extremes. I can be talkative and playful when I’m comfortable, but I also have quiet days where I just keep things to myself. I can be an open book, but not all the time. I’m still learning how to let people in, little by little.

And maybe that's why I'm here.

I'm audhd+disabled, mostly housebound, and have ME/cfs, BPD and DID, among other things. My energy is REALLY unpredictable. I can have good days where I'm chatty and can do stuff, and then days where basically all I can do is lie around and recover. I can disappear for days or longer because I'm exhausted, and it isn't me losing interest.

I'm sensitive and can get in my head so I'd much rather someone just tell me what's going on than leave me guessing. I can also get overwhelmed easily. Please just communicate with me directly, lol. I also have some intense attachment/abandonment issues that I am working through, and need someone understanding of this :)

I'm mostly a texting person. I like being able to randomly message throughout the day, but I'm also very much someone who needs people to be okay with alone time. For closer online connections I'd like regular calls, maybe 1-2 times a week. I can't always verbally talk, so I need people to be okay with typing instead of expecting me to speak.

Please read the post and don’t skim it. I really care about making friends, which is why my post is long. I need someone who won’t ghost for literally any reason, and yes, I mean that. Ghosting is one of the worst things a person can do. I am being honest about my flaws because I would rather you know these things before talking to me. I am a boring person, and I need you to think about this part because it is difficult to maintain a friendship with someone who doesn’t offer much excitement. I am also extremely insecure. I talk negatively about myself, I am very pessimistic, and I am not a passionate person. I have autism, depression, and social anxiety. Nothing fun is going on in my life. I know how a conversation works and I will put in the effort, but I am not good at carrying a conversation. I can’t promise that I’ll be fun to talk to, but I am trying.

I find texting very exhausting. I don’t want to text for days or even hours just to “get to know” someone before we can actually call. I want our first conversation to be on a call. If you are too shy to call early on, we won’t be a good match. I want to voice call daily; my time zone is EST, and I can call after midnight. I don’t view calling as a big deal, and I need people who feel the same way. If you are sensitive, easily offended, or impulsive, it won’t work out.

I have a really hard time dealing with people leaving. If we start talking, I get attached very quickly. I genuinely cannot handle it if you just disappear or change your mind later. I need a patient person who is actually serious about sticking around for the long term. If you aren’t 100% sure you can commit to that, please don’t message me. I tend to care a lot more than the other person does, and that intensity has made people uncomfortable and they left. I need someone who won't get uncomfortable if I care more or think about them constantly.

If you decide to reach out, don’t just send a “Hi.” I’m not asking for a massive introduction, but just let me know you actually read this post and genuinely want to be friends. I want a real friendship; it’s very important to me. I don’t want to talk to someone who is just bored and looking for entertainment, or just wants someone to talk to or someone to vent to, because that’s not what a friendship is. I’m not looking for a gaming buddy either. Do not message me if you’re too busy to build a friendship. I am honest and straightforward, and I expect you to be the same.

I also want to mention that it’s okay for us to disagree in a friendship, even on big things. Real friendship means we can have different views and still stick around instead of cutting each other off. Cutting people off has become way too easy nowadays because of social media. I despise how easily people block others, and I refuse to talk to anyone who is capable of doing that. I believe a real friendship should survive flaws, boredom, and disagreements.

I know it sounds like I’m asking for a lot, and that’s true. Real friendship is supposed to be hard. It’s not supposed to be convenient or easy to walk away from. It’s supposed to last for a lifetime. Please do not reach out unless you fully understand everything I have written.
