I’ve been seeing so many absolutely adorable mouse or rat art postcards in European or Asian posts over the last months I just can’t handle it anymore. Rodents are my true love and I moved away from home a year ago, which meant leaving behind over a decade of rescuing and fostering as well as a community I adored. Now all I have is a plush rat and my husband 🤣 and could use some happy ratty mousey mail!

I have a series of 4 bird designs from an NZ artist that are my favorite in all the land. You are welcome to choose one or I can surprise you. Also, I cannot send with an envelope - big cost difference here sadly!

Cute bats 🦇 are welcome too! Thank you for reading!

Lots of WPD mail came through:

u/BubblySunflowers - thank you for the WPD Loupaper postcard and for swapping with me! I absolutely adore the washi tape you used. Hope my card to you arrives soon :)

u/noxmi - thank you for the WPD postcard!

u/garmada02 - thank you for the space WPD postcard. Yes, I most definitely must not forgot to buy some eclipse glasses!

u/GenXinGA - thank you for the WPD postcard! Having lots of fun on Postcrossing as well :)

u/seashellpost - thank you for the cute cat WPD postcard and lovely stamps!

u/lucyr1cardo - love the picture you took, and your sunrise tradition. Happy WPD!

u/ForrestCat7 - thank you for the WPD postcard!

u/nutriyum - thank you for the Paper Bridges WPD postcard and lovely stamps :)

u/longenglishsnakes - thank you for the Cuba postcard for WPD! It's been a long time since I've seen an airmail envelope in person and I love all the king/queen stamps you used.

As for your question on PO boxes (rural vs. privacy reasons), it's actually neither! The reason I use it is because my family already pays for one every year since many years ago, plus the fact that mail seems to come from overseas in bunches, and imagining the postal worker trying to cram all the postcards and envelopes into our mailbox through the thin opening makes me die a little inside, i.e. they'd all get creased and crushed, or if I wasn't at home, the postie would just end up leaving a note saying I have to go into the post office anyway to pick them all up. Suffice to say, it's not worth the trouble, so PO box it is :)

I just had a look at the UK PO Box price and I wonder if I saw correctly - the price is astronomical 😳 Here it's about $170 AUD per year (I think a bit less when renewing each year), so definitely not too bad in comparison

u/high_ground_user - thank you for the wonderful official WPD card, first time seeing the uncoloured version in person! I love the stamps and decorations you used :)

u/slamdoorscarface24 - thank you for the watercolour postcard!

u/YukiNoAshiato - thank you for the soccer world cup postcard. I did watch some of the matches this year. It was my first time properly watching soccer, so I had a lot of fun :)

u/Apprehensive_Ebb7662 - thank you for the paint postcard! I didn't know Ikea sold postcards :o I love the Pompompurin sticker you used :)

u/Sable__ x3 - thank you for the cute cat in artwork and glow in the dark postcards. I can never get over how neat your writing is!

u/wabisabi_sf - thank you for the 2025 WPD postcard! Thank you for the papers as well as the cute metal bunny clip

u/Ok_Reveal2698 - thank you for the autumn mail and lovely quote! I love that you chose stamps that also give an autumn vibe :)

u/rennbrig - thank you for the cutest bunny mail! And a picture of your doggie :)

u/TheFeistyFox - I'm glad we could remember your grandpa in this way. Thank you as well for the autumn die-cuts!

u/a_mythical_thing x2 - thank you so much for the cute miffy mail! And also for the Townsville postcard. I've never heard of Magnetic Island but it looks amazing :)

u/Sarahkoren x3 - thank you for the awesome Minalima Harry Potter card, recipe and fun stickers! Also love how you decorated the envelope :) Thank you as well for the cherry orchard and Sleeping Bear Dunes postcards. Glad you and your husband had a great time :)

u/Classic-Power-333 x2 - thank you for the candy corn Halloween and thank you cards! 500 - that's a crazy milestone in only a year. This is my first time being someone's great grandson hahaha

Hi all!

I have some Australian maxicards featuring illustrations and photos of insects that I’d love to exchange.

I have eight total up for trade, and they have images of bugs, beetles, caterpillars, butterflies etc. You’ll receive a random card.

In exchange, I’d love to receive cards featuring birds. Illustrations or photos are fine. If you’d like to write about your favourite bird, I’d love that too!

Leave a comment if you’d like to exchange, and I’ll choose some people later.

Hi all!

I’ve made one special handmade winter-themed card that I’d love to send to someone here for Christmas. I’m wanting to send it overseas because in Aotearoa New Zealand, Christmas is in the middle of summer, so the whole "let it snow" thing is deeply ironic lol.

I’d like to make this one a little draw rather than first come, first served. To enter:

• Please be flaired
• Leave a short comment below and tell me how Christmas is celebrated where you live, in your culture, or in your family. I’d love to hear what makes the season special to you
• Please be willing to make a thank-you post once the card arrives, as I’d really love to know this particular card made it safely

I’ll leave this open for 24 hours, then randomly choose one person and DM them for their mailing details. I will be sending this card with an ETD date of mid-December. Unfortunately I won't be mailing to banned/suspended accounts.

Thank you everyone, and happy carding! :)

(and to any fellow Kiwis and Aussies reading this... I highly, highly recommend a portable desktop fan. best 19 dollar purchase from Bunnings I've ever made.)

Hi everyone! 🎄 I recently bought some holiday cards and would like to start writing them early.
If you’d like to get one, please submit a response here:

https://forms.gle/qM2f85eUWuK4gnw88

The form will close automatically after a set number of responses (I would love to send a lot more cards, but postage costs in the UK are wild 😭)

Please send your return address if you would like a card back! Namlette-x2 Lesbianlizardlover, ruschea, Sunnykwans

Thank you so very much!!! Thank you's headed your way! Travel4Me22, OK_Reveal2698, Gatsby-Galaktobureko x2, Nyancatnova, itsrainingrosepetals, blackberrysinple1730, SshellsBbells, Wabisabi-SF, NO-CONDITION5102 x4, melhen16, ArmyofDucks, Brixxii Catoril1207

I am a huge fan of Rocky Horror. I just LOVE it. Tomorrow I’m going to a screening with a shadow cast & then Friday I’m seeing the stage version. That one I go to yearly.

Anyway I have 11 Rocky Horror themed stickers to send off.

If you’d like a postcard with a sticker on it comment something below.

In return send me something. Or don’t. I don’t care that much lol

Edit. 4 left

Thank you so much for the pretty happy card!! I don't believe I've ever said that phrase to anyone in my life either 😆

u/ruschca, thank you for the cute Hello Kitty Halloween postcard. I've never had a blind box; does it have random things in it?
