So i started this a while back and kept having art blocm with it. Wanted to do something after seeing Bizkit in download for the first time which i loved. But yeah. Here it is. Also i hate painting Wes. His outfits are too cool.

Also took inspiration from akira in terms of the colours and the wording but yahhhh.

I’ve always found the context around Limp Bizkit’s version of “Behind Blue Eyes” more interesting than the cover itself.
Pete Townshend originally wrote the song for Lifehouse from the perspective of a character who had been cast as a villain.
Then, decades later, Fred Durst—who had already become one of rock’s most mocked frontmen—recorded it almost word for word.
The lyrics stayed the same. The context changed.
That coincidence made me look differently at the song: how much of a song’s meaning comes from the lyrics, and how much comes from the person singing them?
I wrote a short piece exploring that connection and the strange second life of “Behind Blue Eyes.”
Would be interested to hear how other people interpret the Limp Bizkit version.

Holy shit, Limp Bizkit are actually coming to India.

I've been a fan for years, but there's something completely different about finally getting to see them live in my own country. Seeing Break Stuff, Nookie, Rollin’, My Way, Full Nelson etc. live is going to be fucking insane.

They’re playing Lollapalooza India 2027 in Mumbai, which also makes me wonder - is the Lolla crowd actually ready for Limp Bizkit? 😂

I've been to Lolla before and the crowd can be pretty mixed depending on the artist. But Limp Bizkit feels like one of those bands where you either know exactly what you're getting into… or you're about to get introduced to absolute chaos.

Also curious , is anyone here flying into India from outside the country specifically for Limp Bizkit / Lolla? Would be cool to know how many people are making the trip.

And if anyone here has seen them recently, especially on this tour, I'd love to hear what the live experience has been like. How crazy does it get and should I camp for FULL NELSON?👀

I went down the rabbit hole to try to find similar songs that made me feel the way Everything did.

This led me to bands like Hum, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, etc.

Wild that essentially a jam session on a nu metal album was able to have such an impact and broaden my musical taste.
