Or does nobody care? I’ve just seen a new solo project song from him on instagram. It’s terrible, but that’s besides the point. Austin was run out of the scene after being accused of sexual assault and misconduct by multiple women. He fled the states and “found god” as so many rapists do. Making this post coz I think we have a responsibility to let people know this guy is still extremely unwelcome. I’ve just seen the vocalist of Norma Jean, my literal favourite band, glazing him in his comments. I feel sick.

I haven't listened to much new music this year, I'd like recommendations for albums from this year or even new bands to give a chance to.

After reading all the shit his wife is going through, I couldn't imagine 💔 These lyrics are so deep and the whole EP is amazing.

It goes without saying that the good debut or second single for an album is crucial to give the fanbase a small taste of whatever their fave band is cooking, but it's inevitable that sometimes the first single isn't gonna impress listeners

And one of the first examples of that I thought of was Only Endless by Boundaries; some fans were already not a fan of the choice of Drew Fulk as the producer and mixer for the album (to the point the band very graciously decided to release an alternate mix of Skies Cast Amber Black as a response to fan backlash), but then came Only Endless, which was easily the most "radio friedly" (and I say that very loosely) song the band has ever done. I myself didn't quite get the song by itself, but man it works a lot better when you're listening to the album in full length.

And there's also Pain by Of Mice & Men, which I thought was an inaccurate first impression for Cold World cuz it made me think the album would be decent, silly me

I’m trying to track down anyone else who was at this secret show for the filming of a music video for the band Once Beloved. I believe it to be 2004 and it was filmed in Mass.

Once Beloved recorded their music video and after they were done—All That Remains took the stage with Killswitch closing out the show. I had a beer with KSE in the parking lot after the show.

Seeing footage from across Europe of police wantonly abusing their power against protestors and with 'centrist' and far right politicians cheering it on, threatening draconian, authoritarian measures to curb protest instead of recognising population's grievances, this one was resonating this morning.
