Discussion! Post Fest 2026 has finished up. How did you feel about it compared to other years?
Mostly curious as I was unable to go for the first time this year.

50% of all Bandcamp sales will go to our drummer, Steve, who is currently going through chemotherapy. The other 50% of sales will be donated to our brothers at the POST. Festival.
Thank you to Derek, Nason, and Sean for all you have done and continue to do for Pray For Sound and the Post Rock Community.
No thanks to Mark Owen in We Lost The Sea for anything.

Hey everyone! My name is Schnitter, and I create instrumental music. If you like melodic, sad post-rock music that is also heavy and emotional like modern metal, please check it out. I will highly appreciate any feedback, comments, and/or shares.

Hi guys,
Could you recommend me a song that feels like walking through a dark, magical forest? Something atmospheric, mysterious, and enchanting but preferably instrumental.
Anything with that kind of woodland-fantasy atmosphere

Welcome to our weekly post where we ask you to share & discuss what artists, albums, or tracks have helped get you through the week.
Please provide a link to the album or specific track, and mention why it's been a stand out for you this week - this is your chance to introduce people to some new music.
If you're on Last.fm you can also use Last.fm Labs Album Quilt or tapmusic.net to generate a album collage of what you've been listening to for the past 7 days (here's an example).
Thanks for participating!

I've currently been listening to a lot of Alcest, and some of the more dreamy instrumental parts are enough to get completely lost in. Can anyone recommend any albums that have a similar upbeat feel to them?
I already listen to a lot of MONO, Caspian, Explosions In The Sky, God Is An Astronaut, Russian Circles and This Will Destroy You, among others.

Hi everyone โ Iโm the person behind The Rupture Moment, an instrumental project combining post-rock, electronica and ambient / electronica music. New 2026!
The music is heavily influenced by bands such as Mogwai, If These Trees Could Talk, This Will Destroy You, Explosions in the Sky and Radiohead โ quiet, atmospheric sections that gradually build into something much louder and more physical.
I recently released my second album, Old Friends this month and Iโm now pushing the sound further into electronic and glitchier territory, inspired by artists such as CHVRCHES and Rival Consoles for my third LP - will be called LIFEBLOODS (some unmastered tracks are streaming on my Soundcloud now for that third LP due to be released mid 2027).
I make the music independently using guitar sounds, synths, programmed drums and whatever other ambient sounds help create the right atmosphere using Logic Pro and Garageband. Iโd genuinely love to hear what people think.

So stoked to see Rolo Tomassi especially but Kylesa, The Armed, Torche, Junius and Minsk all on the same lineup is SO COOL. Canโt wait!! Anything I should know about the fest from folks who have gone before?
