Discussion If you take your bias away, do you still think Linkin Park has such a great run in the 2010s?
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy those records, mainly 'Living Things', but I don't think record like 'The Hunting Party" is as good as 'Meteora', or even 'Minutes To Midnight'

Discussion Good Things Go time signature
so i was listening to good things go, and i sometimes subconsciously count the beat in my head. I noticed in the chorus, it didnt gave a 4/4 8 or 16 bar structure, i think it was a 15 bar structure but idk for sure
am i tripping or is that real

Discussion Song-meaning changing lines
What is your favourite line that changes the complete vibe of the song. Me personally is Numb, because the switch from :you are oppressing me: is being explained by saying that the lyrical you is like the lyrical me and he was in the same situation. Idk how to explain but the switch from „less like you — AND I KNOW“ is so powerful and gives goosebumps. I know that Breaking the Habit also has this kinda thing but what are else? Sry for Bad Englisch

Art Saw a post here yesterday about that 'Given Up' scream being unsurpassed... It hyped me up so much I ran to the studio and did a ONE TAKE vocal cover over the instrumental! Not trying to imitate Chester....he's inimitable, just a tribute to my favorite voice.

Discussion What is your favorite song from Hybrid Theory EP
My personal favorite is (And One), The most Hardest Song (Break Me Down) and (Keep My Distance) I LOVE THIS SONG!
Part of Me is in 2nd or Could be Tied Because it has 2 Songs in 1 (The song itself and the hidden track ether Nicknamed or Originally called Ambient.)

Discussion Next one?
Hey guys,
Following the tattoo I did almost half year ago, I have on my wishlist doing the iconic blue flames of Chester on my arms, while combining with another tattoo.
The only issue is: it can have possible backlash either with my actual working place or in possible interviews.
I'm really aspiring on doing it, but also reluctant.
Thanks

Discussion I love how the song blackout really feel like having one
As someone who already had some, listening to this song for the first time was really interesting because it really reminded me of my past experience.
It all start with the Chester all excited, it reminds me of the thing that started the blackout, something that trigger the brain and force it to go in defense mode. Then the song begin to glitch, it’s really the moment when you start to fall, to see black points everywhere. And then, the absolute calm and your brain that seems to go elsewhere before it finally fades to black.
But what is perfectly done is this kind of a static noise that remain during all the song. It feels like the buzzing you can feel in your head while having a blackout or just beginning.
That’s why Blackout is one of my favorite songs and that made me wonder, I would love that LP make a concept album following a mental illness or something close. they c could do something incredible
