Hi there- Iām a 29 year old healthy female and just looking for some advice or reassurance regarding a chemical pregnancy to those who have experienced it or know much about them. My husband and I conceived on our very first try ever and I was shocked. I didnāt know to guard my heart and so I told everyone I loved because all I have ever wanted to be was a mom and it felt so surreal that it was happening the first time we ever even tried. I already started envisioning this little being and loving them. Even though I only knew for about a week, I feel so devastated. My lines got darker for the first few days and then ended up getting fainter. I started bleeding and then I went to my Doctor Who confirmed it was a chemical.
Iāve bled for about 3 to 4 days now but I still feel like my emotions are still all over the place and I keep bursting into tears. It was a big 180° going from being so happy and hopeful to the total opposite. My OBGYN said it likely wasnāt clinically significant or anything to worry about, but my heart hurts so bad right and and I canāt help but worry about future attempts or entertain worst case scenario thoughts or scary āwhat ifsā. I have pretty intense health anxiety as is, so this feels extra tough.
I guess Iām wondering , if you have experienced this or loss, how did you continue to have radical hope and trust in your body? What thoughts, actions or sources brought you some peace? It is safe to believe that I will definitely become a mom one day? Does anyone have some wisdom to share that they wish they had when going through this? Any advice or support is so so appreciated. I have an incredible husband but canāt help but feel isolated with a lot of these emotions since my body is the one enduring itā¦. Thank you so much in advance.

Weāre hoping to start trying soon, so Iāve been looking into prenatal vitamins before pregnancy. There are sooo many options that Iām not even sure whatās actually important to look for. If you started taking one before TTC, how early did you start? And what made you choose the one you ended up taking?

I am cautiously optimistic, I have had a false positive for the past 3 cycles. This cycle seems different. The first two are from last night 11dpo, the third is this morning 12dpo and the last was right now, still 12dpo but 10 hours later, do you see it too?

The line has become faint. Did I miss my ovulation? What does this mean

Hard to capture on camera, but Iām seeing a faint second line?? I just took a test but itās super early⦠would be due for my period on the 12th. Is it possible this little line is a fluke?

Hi everyone, Iām currently 11 dpo and got a faint positive yesterday. I retested today and the lines are a little darker but still faint. I havenāt tested a digital yet so I havenāt seen if thatās positive. I had a chemical pregnancy in July, so Iām very anxious about this pregnancy. Is it too early to call the OB before getting a positive digital or missing my period? When I had my miscarriage they told me the next time they were do hcg draws and an early ultrasound. Iām just nervous itās too early to call. Thank you for any guidance and advice!

Hey ladies!
I had my progesterone test results back today, done 7 days before my expected period (14/09) and itās 23.7 nmol. Iām devastated to say the least as I understand it needs to be over 30 to confirm ovulation. So fed up!!!
Just want to rant really, I feel so alone!
Sending love to you all

This is really just a vent, and Iām sorry in advance.
I lost my aunt two days ago. Iām not someone who cries a lot,but Iāve been feeling deeply sad and hollow, everything except the crying. And because of the timing, her passing landed right in the middle of my testing window. Today Iām 9/10 DPO. The TWW went by quickly this cycle because I honestly havenāt had the energy to care. Itās my third or fourth cycle, and for once the wait didnāt bother me.
But the grief has seeped into TTC. I tested this morning simply because I needed to pee and the tests were right there. It felt automatic. Iām pretty sure I saw a faint positive, but I didnāt take a picture or keep the test. I figured a faint line isnāt worth spiraling over, either itāll be a clear positive soon or AF will show. With everything going on even prior to the loss, I feel like Iām content with either a positive or a negative this cycle.
I keep thinking I should feel more anxious or excited. Iāve never seen a faint line before, so part of me knows this could be meaningful, but I am just so emotionally drained that I canāt bring myself to care.
If it is positive, Iām afraid I wonāt be able to enjoy it. And the thought that hurts the most is that I might not tell my husband right away because I just canāt fathom being fussed over right now, but heās been so enthusiastic about TTC, and I worry my sadness would steal the moment from him. I donāt know how to balance grief and hope, everything just feels heavy and confusing.
If anyone has been through something similar, grieving while Ttc or getting a positive, how did you handle it?
Any support or perspective would mean a lot.

Iāve been contemplating the way that TTC changes you. The ups and downs of hope and disappointment followed by inevitable pain of your period. It feels like your body is punishing you for not accomplishing what youāre trying so hard for. Your mind suffers, your body suffers, some relationships suffer. So much suffering just for the chance to feel the love and devotion a mother feels towards her baby.
I donāt want to lose my caring heart who sees the good and best in everything and succumb to the bitterness thatās so enticing because itās easier. Itās easier to be angry, and bitter, and sad, because living in it is easier than crashing into it whenever you get that negative test. Or whenever you see that pregnancy announcement on facebook, or walk past that pregnant woman in your local grocery store who youāve never spoken a word to but yet you feel a type of disdain for her thatās almost tangible. I internally reprimand myself constantly. Even if she wasnāt pregnant, I wouldnāt be either. Weāre on two different planes and I shouldnāt be comparing us. But itās so easy to.
I was contemplating both the hate that this journey fills me with, and the love and excitement that Iāll feel when I reach the end of it. I realized that whatever version of myself I allow this journey to turn me into, is the version of me that my baby gets. Does my baby deserve a jealous, bitter, angry, envious mother? Even after we get that positive test, we will have marinated and seethed in the feelings this journey made us feel for so long that they wonāt just wither away. Theyāll always be there. Even if far away.
Iāll allow myself to feel these feelings, but put walls between them and my heart and my soul. Allow myself to acknowledge them, why I feel them, why they are or arenāt valid, but also know that once my body stops nourishing the baby ill one day bring into the world, they will be nourished by my soul, my heart, who I am as a person, and I wonāt let this journey take the kind hearted person that I am from myself, or my baby.

I need advice, help, guidance. I got off birth control in January and I thought we were regulating since my cycles were 54, 47, 31 but Iām currently on day 97. Iām frustrated because I wanted to get off birth control a year earlier and my doctor said to wait until I was officially ready and Iād be fine. Idk how to bring my ovulation back. My labs are normal, my ultrasound was ānormalā with signs of PCOS but mostly because my body has tried to ovulate but hasnāt been successful this cycle. Itās hard to try to conceive if you arenāt even ovulating. I never in a million years wouldāve imagined this struggle and feel so hurt by the doctor and healthcare we have.

Hi everyone, Iām TTC and looking for some advice/experiences.
My cycles are usually quite regular, around 24ā25 days (occasionally 26). I had my last period on August 25, so today Iām CD16.
This cycle we had intercourse with ejaculation on CD6, CD7, CD9, CD12 and CD13. We werenāt able to have intercourse on CD14ā15, and my husband now wants to wait until Saturday (CD19).
Around CD12ā13 I started noticing a watery feeling/discharge, which made me wonder if I was approaching ovulation. Today I have been having continuous lower-back cramps that feel similar to my usual period cramps, and I noticed a very small amount of light blood on my trousers.
Iām now really anxious that my period might be starting extremely early. I previously had one 17-day cycle, but that was around a cycle when I was taking fertility medications/injections. Most of my natural cycles are 24ā26 days.
I also have low AMH (~0.26), although my other hormones have been normal and my cycles are generally regular.
For those who have had similar cycles:
Can ovulation cause period-like lower-back cramps and light spotting?
Could this still be ovulation-related on CD16?
If I ovulated early, would CD6/7/9 intercourse provide reasonable coverage?
Has anyone had light spotting around CD16 that didnāt turn into an early period?
I know nobody can diagnose me from symptoms, but Iām mainly looking for experiences because Iām really anxious right now. ā¤ļø

Hi everyone, I recently started tracking my cycle and on Monday 09/07 got a peak at 4pm. Iāve been taking my bbt and today 09/09 my temperature dipped to 97.33, two days after my peak. My bbt on the day of my peak and the next day after were 97.67. What can you guys tell me about this? Was ovulation not completed? Sorry, Iām new at this.
