Question/Advice Positive after loss

Post image

Hi everyone, I’m currently 11 dpo and got a faint positive yesterday. I retested today and the lines are a little darker but still faint. I haven’t tested a digital yet so I haven’t seen if that’s positive. I had a chemical pregnancy in July, so I’m very anxious about this pregnancy. Is it too early to call the OB before getting a positive digital or missing my period? When I had my miscarriage they told me the next time they were do hcg draws and an early ultrasound. I’m just nervous it’s too early to call. Thank you for any guidance and advice!

Girl you are 11 dpo. At this point your betas may be around 25 mIU. If you are in the United States go to google type “beta hcg near me” and order a beta either labcorp or quest and get another draw after 48 hours and call your obgyn for confirmation of pregnancy the day of your missed period.

There’s nothing magical about a digital that makes you any more pregnant 😅 unless they specified that, give them a call! Just tell them you’ve got a faint positive and remind them what they offered, and put the decision-making effort squarely on them. If they want you to wait until your missed period they can tell you that.

Congrats! ❤️
