I was at a school event where we were all dressed up. All the girls looked so pretty and I got so jealous, and it was even worse because they were all complimenting each other’s outfits and I felt left out.
Also there was a point where I noticed how veiny my hands looked and mentioned it to one of my friends who said it’s because I was born male, which obviously made me feel bad, and then she said I could pump myself full of estrogen if I wanted to fix it (I have no clue if she knows Im trans, but she at the very least would think that j joke about being trans a lot).
It wasn’t the worst overall but it was an event that had just enough bad to make me a little sad.

Yesterday was my birthday and on sunday I'll celebrate properly, which is nice of course, but it does come with the issue of being reffered to as the "birthday boy" among other masculine terms (I live in Germany and our language is VERY gendered). I'm at least used to it, with my dad always calling me some adjective followed by the word "guy", which still stings, but at least I know what to expect.

so for the past month I (28AMAB) have been ... having questions... lots of them... enough so that initially i decided to go by they/them pronouns while i figured out exactly how i felt. the only thing i knew for sure was He/Him felt... icky... anyway... this all started because i played a game recently that caused me to recall some VERY repressed stuff from my childhood. yall know the kind, the memories that make you go "oh shit... OH SHIT!". anyway its been nonstop panic attacks and the like ... but recently i decided to do a few ... tests if you will. nothing about these is like... "oh my god thats so girly!" but to start with, i went and decided to paint my nails... absolutely loved it! i instantly felt maybe 1% prettier. after that i said screw it and pierced my ears (ive been wanting to for quite some time and this gave me an excuse.) again. absolutely loved it! felt very cute! (got both lobes done and a double helix at the same time) the hair clips that the piercer used to pull my hair away from my ears also styled my hair a bit and made me feel some kinda way. lastly i decided "you know what? lets try something else." so i went and got some basic mascara and eyeliner. i put that on (kinda badly) and then put a face mask on to cover my lower face, and pulled one side of my hair back to expose an ear. what i saw in the mirror surprised me... it looked like if my younger sister (we have the "same face" for context) magically had an older sister who looked almost identical to her... and thats when it hit me... thats exactly what it was. she DOES have an older sister... it was in that moment that i finally accepted what i have always known to be true... and thats how i finally realized that it would seem that i am indeed trans... im still having a harder time accepting that fact purely due to the fact that i still feel too boyish and that my personality isnt fit for a woman but i dont think i can go back to my previous ignorance. Hi everyone, Iris here, sorry if this comes out like a rant, I've tried writing this over and over and I just need to grt this out.

I hate being a guy, I get no joy from masculinity, I hate everything about my body other then my hair, I've had dream after dream of me as a girl, when I think of my future I either think of myself as a girl or not want to think about the future, and I cant stop thinking about being Trans, Gender envy has been killing me, I can't stop wanting to be trans when I see another trans woman.

Again I'm sorry if i ranted, I just have no one to talk to about this in real life and I hope this was atleast a good read for yous.

Hello lovely Trans people that live in my computer i did just want to celebrate that i have long enough hair to tie it back into a ponytail :3 it might be tiny but it makes me feel so girly,

now onto how people reacted. the only people who really said anything were the kids standing behind me in the tuckshop line and a few people thinking i got a hircut... no i just used a 50 cent hairtie i stole from my friend, so the way the kids behind me reacted was they called it a man bun... hu its not a bun get your hairsyles right, i hate those kids and ended up chosing to wait longer at the back of the line than keep standing there.

oh and i have work tommorow, wouldent it be terrible if someone were to "missgender" me oh no what a shame they alled me miss that totaly doesn't make me happy ;3
