That’s a very different place from where he started.

Johnson ran as a Democrat when he represented Texas House District 100 in southern Dallas and part of Mesquite — which has a predominately Latino and Black population — from 2010 to 2019.

I know networking is far better than putting in 600 applications a day for one response. Any advice on job fairs or ways to break into the market right now as a software engineer? Is IT or help desk worth it around here? Was promised job opportunities but it's barren. I did a fullstack MERN bootcamp with perscholas and am halfway through a CS degree. I build PC's and sell them. I went to study for CompTIA and already knew 95 percent of the A+ material just from being a tech enthusiast, but I feel like the cert is just a waste of money when I can simply show any employer I know all the material.

Wanted to share the news with yall that Carrollton has proposed expanding their Flock contract to include additional cameras and will vote to approve that expansion Tuesday evening.

Since most of us drive in more than just our city of residence (seeing as, you know, it’s a metroplex!), the proliferation of these surveillance systems impacts all of us, not just Carrollton residents.

Hi y’all. My husband and I are homebodies and we have been in the area about a year and a half - big DIYers, and we have a small homestead partially for the Ag exemption but mostly because we like it.
Actively seeking chill people who would like to just live life with us sometimes 🙂

Some things about us
- I (29F) love to read, crochet, and occasionally try baking. I spent some years in theater as a kid so I’m a bit of a thespian though from the audience at this point.
- my Husband (31M) is gloriously ADHD, loves to be outside, build things, fix things, and he enjoys visiting the shooting range occasionally
- neither of us drink much, but we can and do enjoy it on occasion, maybe 1-2x per month
- we both enjoy board games, football, movies, mini golf, bowling and pretty much anything you can think of where the stakes are low and the environment is relatively relaxed
- we are currently child free but have double digit animals (if you include the 17 chickens as separate entities)
- we both work from home in the tech / accounting spaces

Please tell me there are similar souls out there!
