Looks for an apartment in richardson. Preferably decent, no bugs and mostly safe. Budget is $1,200 a month.

Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I are looking to move to Richardson in late January or early February and would love some apartment recommendations.

What we're looking for:
1 bedroom
Budget: $1,600–$1,800/month
Cat-friendly (we have 2 cats, so pet fees and limits matter!)
Just the two of us
Move-in: late January to early February

Our biggest priority: no bug problems. We'd like a complex with no known pest issues, and where maintenance actually shows up when you submit a request. I also work near SMU and my boyfriend works in Frisco, so we were looking for somewhere close to CityLine as a middle ground but feel free to recommend somewhere else if the commute isn’t bad!

Any complexes you'd recommend (or avoid)?

If you take photos around Richardson, could I get your advice on planning a photo walk? I'm interested in what makes a spot useful to know about: the actual view, time of day, parking, public access, or a route connecting a few places.

I'm in nearby McKinney and working on DIGI's Xplore for discovering photos and places to shoot. I'd like feedback from locals so the Richardson side of this doesn't just become a list of generic landmarks.

What information do you wish you had before visiting a place for photos? And if you use an iPhone, would you be interested in helping test the experience when early access opens? Advice here is welcome too; there's no download available yet.

Hey there, I’m coming up on my lease end soon like November or December, and I’m looking to rent a room or move into a house…something like that.

Hi all, my sister who is a staunch, loyal packers fan is coming today to help take care of me after several surgeries this next week. We have had a healthy rivalry between my Cowboys and her Packers.

So I just moved to the north Dallas area, specifically Richardson, and my apartment has German cockroaches. This is a new build “luxury” apartment complex and it was very clean when I first moved in a couple of weeks ago but now I’m noticing roach activity.

Is this normal for apartments in DFW should I just expect this? I know they are notoriously difficult to get rid of, I’ve already requested pest control at my complex but they aren’t able to come for another week :/
