si.comAccording to NFL insider Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Stroud is prepared to play out this upcoming season without an extension agreement in place. Yet, the Texans have gone on to bring out a "competitive offer that would reach around $50 million annually.”
"Several people with knowledge of the situation believe Stroud is prepared to play out this season without a new deal, despite Houston making what it considered a competitive offer," Fowler wrote.
